We Gave Local Illustrators Our Pictures Of The Empty City And Asked Them To Add Their Own Touch (24 Pics)
The city never has empty streets as it is full of little details. Here is our collaborative project which is still in progress. Everything started when we met together with our favorite illustrators from Cluj-Napoca. We gave them our pictures of the empty city and they showed us how to see it with the artists' eyes.

How tf is she staying still?! I end up cocooned before I can even get both feet up!
Bucharest, left The Royal Palace, now The National Art Museum, right Carol I statue and The Central Academic Library
Fun idea and creative drawings, but some of the photos are from Bucharest, not Cluj-Napoca. And it's a pity it shows mostly the big ugly blocks and very little from the beautiful old centre.
Very much agree. It is my hometown and though they are creative, I must say it might confuse some people, and indeed, the blocka are horrible,it does not represent the real history of the city, which goes back hundreds of years, but the very sad few decades of communism, the representation of erasing minorities (Hungarians,Germans)... Well, it the media and it'll show you what they want. Nice to see the city and some creativity.
