Russian Artist Anna Fedorenko Creates Tiny Replicas Of Paintings Using Embroidery
If you love painting as much as I do than these embroidered brooches are made for you!
Russian artist Anna Fedorenko finds her inspiration in the works of Van Gogh, Klimt and Dega to create unique jewelry pieces. Using woolen and cotton threads, she repeats every touch of paint capturing the emotions and the famous artists’ styles. It takes the craftswoman about a week to make a single unit with the diameter of five centimeter. All brooches made in the satin stitch technique have elegant frames of beads, what makes them even closer to the original copies.
Besides the well known subjects, Anna designs her own accessory collections with sleeping angels, foxes and women in ethnic costumes. You can even find an embroidered Frida and Cheshire Cat!
As for life and art, the embroideress sticks to the Karl Kraus’s words, ‘If you don’t know what to do then do the right thing.’ And I believe that she took the best path of all.
Let’s enjoy the beauty of Anna’s works.

Every one of them may seem like they took forever to make. But, anyway, amazing work!
