SpaceX has successfully launched its heaviest rocket yet, the Falcon Heavy. After years of delay and technical issues, the rocket took to the skies to much awe and admiration, with 2 out of 3 boosters returning to Earth in perfect sync, intact and ready to be refurbished and used again. A truly remarkable and game-changing event.
Adding a whimsical touch to the event, a Tesla convertible was featured as the payload of the giant rocket. Pictures of the car floating through space have emerged, with a 'spaceman' in the driver's seat and David Bowie's ''Life On Mars'' playing on the stereo. A truly surreal sight!
The aftermath of the launch has brought out the best of the internet. From pop culture and sci-fi references, to the quirky and Bond villain-esque persona of SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, the meme possibilities go from infinity to beyond! And as usual, Musk himself is quite happy to play along and join in the fun.
