Bored Panda was curious to know what the life of somebody who is an actual celebrity lookalike is like, so we reached out to Ella Norton who closely resembles actress Emma Watson. According to Ella, she lives in the middle of nowhere, but she still gets stopped by fans whenever she visits any large towns or cities. “The most memorable experience with an Emma Watson fan would probably be when I visited Oxford once, and took photos with everyone there, including children in Harry Potter uniform, and even was asked to sign autographs. I always feel bad to let people down who think I actually am her! It is very surreal to have experienced a tiny bit of what it is like for a celebrity on a daily basis,” she said.

Ella also shared that she has had an experience where fan pages of Watson found Ella’s photos online and used them on their fan pages, assuming that she was Watson. “I am really enjoying getting started in the cosplay community, and also sharing the books I’m reading and my studying which I am very passionate about. It’s also great to have a platform on which I have a voice to speak on important issues.”

While having a drink or two every once in a while might not be the end of the world if you stick to recommended guidelines and otherwise live a healthy, active lifestyle, anything in excess can be dangerous to you, your loved ones, and your community. The TikTok videos make it sound like all fun and games, and while that might be true in some cases, drinking in excess and partying every day till you can’t even tell whether somebody is famous or not can eventually lead to alcoholism and then to a long battle to reclaim your life from the pit of addiction.

Somebody who knows this perfectly is Kenny Dunn who has been sober for 4 years this November and documents his progress and how the massive lifestyle changes have changed his body for the better. Kenny told Bored Panda that anyone who is struggling with addiction or alcoholism has to find the courage to reach out to someone else in recovery who know what they’re going through and can help.

“When I went to my first meeting, I was a horrifying mess. I was shaky and hungover, I hadn’t bathed or shaved in days, I probably reeked. I felt like a waste of life. But when I sat down I saw a sign on the wall that said, ‘You never, ever have to be alone again,’ wow, I thought, ‘How did they know I was so alone?’” he shared his first experience with the 12-step program.

“Nobody in this world knows what I’ve gone through like another alcoholic. Only the alcoholic/addict knows whether or not they are a real alcoholic/addict. Nobody can tell them, even if it’s true. A person has to know for themselves,” Kenny mused, adding that anyone who is powerless to control their addiction to alcohol or drugs needs to ask for help. And it has to be their decision to do so.
