Bulldog Watches Horror Movie, And His Reaction Is All Of Us

You know that feeling when you’re watching a horror movie and you want to scream at the protagonists to warn them against approaching danger? Well, you’re not alone – this doggie in the video below feels the same way too and barks whenever she senses a threat. “Khaleesi the bulldog loves watching horror movies and always tries to protect any potential victims from harm,” writes the canine’s owner Dawn Curran.

“She is especially vocal when children are in danger as seen in this clip,” comments Khaleesi’s human. The video proves that this doggie’s instincts are always on point. This time the pooch was watching The Conjuring, so it was no wonder she was so frightened.

Peoples’ reactions varied. One commentator wrote: “Calm down, dog. I’ve been yelling at dumbasses in horror movies for years. It never helps. They’re dead.”

While another added: “Conclusive proof that horror movie protagonists really are less intelligent than dogs. Come on, writers.”

And then, there were those concerned about Khaleesi having nightmares after watching the horror movies. One thing is for sure – this bulldog is a brave little doggo who will not stay silent watching someone is in trouble.

Four-legged Children are ALWAYS watching their parents and siblings, and can tell when danger presents itself. They've had at least fifty thousand years to fit in to the family. ;D

Lizzy, I didn't say "four-legged humans". I said "four-legged children". Dogs have been with us for at least 49 thousand years. I'm a physical anthropologist and keep up with paleoanthropolygy. They're extra special, and are intellectually on the level of children. That's why I call them that. And when we start genetically 'uplifting' other creatures, dogs will be first in line.

When my shepherd (I just lost him at an amazing 14 yrs old) saw me get tense and wiggly at a horror movie, when THAT music started, he would get between me and the screen, back up onto my feet, and snarl at the tv. He was not a growler except to warn me. No one was ever allowed between us until he was sure it was safe. He was my love.

His people aren't home and he was told NOT to watch horror movies on TV. Dog is going to have nightmares tonight.
