Pit Bull Rescued From Dog Fighting Ring Now Spends His Days Cuddling Kittens
What does a pit bull and a well-known flavor of ice cream have in common? Well, they’re both called Cherry Garcia and they’re both super sweet. Just look at him cuddling these kittens!
Despite his loving nature however, Cherry hasn’t always been allowed to express it, because he was once part of Michael Vick’s infamous dog fighting ring before he was finally rescued and re-homed. Vick was an NFL quarterback who was found guilty in 2007 of forcing dogs to fight each other on his property in Virginia. More than 50 dogs were removed from his care and Cherry Garcia was one of them. It was only the first step on a long road to recovery because the poor dog was badly traumatized, but he was adopted by a loving family in 2010 and he now spends his days swimming, snugging and hanging out with kittens.
BarkPost recently honored Cherry as part of their “Dog’s Best Day,” series. For 24 hours the privileged pittie was given all the love and attention that any dog could ever hope for. See for yourself in the video below. (h/t: BarkPost)

But as you can see, Cherry is a lover, not a fighter. Look at him with these kittens!
“Cherry just loves his kittens, he has two cats now and he loves to play with them,” Cherry’s owner Paul Fiaccone told BarkPost
“Every time he’s around kittens, it’s like all the stress goes away”
“He would definitely love to be a kitty nanny for a day”
Cherry had to undergo serious rehabilitation follow his rescue from the dog fighting ring
But in 2010 he was adopted by a loving family that lets him show his affectionate side

Cherry is the example that not all pitbull are vicious . Thanks to the family have saved her and gave her a forever home.
Isn't it the other way arpound? if you say not all pitbulls are bad, it sounds like well most pitbulls are bad but there are some like Cherry. Which isn't the case, since all dogs are born nice, loving, and trusting but people ruin them.
