I started dog photography about two years ago, and I met a lot of wonderful dog models that I loved since the very first moment.
My own dog helped me to get my own style when photographing. Because of her I started going out and taking photos, not to mention that she’s also a great model when it comes to taking photographs.
I always render and edit my pictures, of course, not too much because I like the natural style, but I mostly edit the lighting and shadows to give contrast.
My favorite type of photos are action photos, I love it when a dog runs towards me and the faces they make are too adorable!

My own dog is very important to me. Whenever I want to try new things out and work in new locations, I can always create some test shots of her, which helps me to eventually work with the location to create better pictures. With that being said, my most memorable experience while photographing a dog would be when I'm photographing little puppies! I think it's so special because they're completely new to the world, so everything seems so big and wonderful in their eyes, and I love to capture those first moments.
Whenever I shoot a photo, I try to make it as good as possible already, so I don't have to edit much. I love to have pictures that look real and not too heavily edited. I mostly just change colors and sometimes move leashes out of the picture.
I love being outdoors and using my own creativity in dog photography the most. Since there are so many different dogs, you can create so many different kinds of pictures. I think my favorite kind of pictures would be in the purple heather with a beautiful sunset.
Dogs are always themselves, so if you have a hyper dog, they'd be perfect for action photos! I try to look at what the dog would like to do, and I try to use the owner for the pictures because the dogs are most likely to do what they say or look at them. In that way, the unique personality of the dog comes through in the picture.
border collie? At this point i don't care what breed it's just cute
The reason why you see so many Border Collies on TV, in photos, in advertising, etc? It's because they're so easy to train. They'll stand still for the camera for longer than most doggos will. They *want* to be trained.
I adore #5!! Bet if you took the photos for your nearest Humane Society, those dogs & cats would be adopted out immediately! Your images are so full of emotion!
Did I upvote each and every single one? Yea I did :) more adorable doggie posts please!
I love your style. You let the dogs be dogs and show their natural behaviour, instead of forcing them into silly poses. If I had a dog (and lived in the right part of the world), I'd hire you for a photo shooting in an instant.
Love all the pictures! Can you make a picture of an Airedale Terrier or an Irish Terrier as well?
