Sofia, the difference is that it is the dog's nature to eat meat. I don't. I am vegetarian. But the dogs must eat meat. I have no right to feed her only veggies. So for me Judy is right. Simone's comment, was inappropriate.

@Elpida: there is no 'nature'. This is an idea from early greek philosophy which is hardly adaptable to modern understanding. What you are refering to is something like physiology. And for this point there are plenty of studies which show that dogs can live perfectly without any meat. Also it's very hard to believe that the poor chicken depicted falls even under the most traditional understanding of dog food, I assume. P.S.: Who cares what you're thinking, Judy.
