We've seen Disney princesses reimagined as career-focused women of 2018, we've adored someone recreating the famous characters of cartoons as real-life people. But this cartoonist offers a new twist to the iconic Disney stories, rewriting it based on various social media sites.

Artist Justin Hall has been working on various comics for a decade now, often featuring famous characters from various movies, games, and cartoons. This time, Hall puts a twist on Disney characters by putting them through a social media filter. "The inspiration behind these funny comics was the potential of combining two things everyone is familiar with. The social sites I chose have such recognizable personalities, quirks, and communities (for better or worse), just as the Disney movies are instantly recognizable," he told Bored Panda.

From sites like Facebook and Twitter to search engine Google, the situations show various aspects of the sites featured. "There is a message behind most of my comics, even if some are just surface level juxtapositions meant to be humorous," the artist explained, "The Imgur panel, in particular, is important to me because content theft online is so pervasive it is almost impossible to enforce, or even get people to notice or care. The concept of rightful attribution is not as straight forward as something like protecting a userbase from hate speech, so no one bothers to write about it anymore, and the culture of the internet remains antithetical to the idea of ownership".
