While humor can't actually defeat the pandemic, it definitely helps us find positivity and keep our anxieties away for a short while. This is why many artists have been doing their best during this quarantine and coming up with creative corona-related series.

AL, known as @aldoarts to 33.9k followers on Instagram, imagined what would happen if coronavirus shook the Disney world as well. The artist recreates popular corona memes and funny scenarios with some of our favorite cartoon characters. AL finds fun and irony in relatable pandemic-themed situations such as social distancing, the toilet paper and sanitizer craze, overeating, new home-fashion trends, and romantic struggles.

In the artist's illustrated universe, Prince Charming comes up with cheesy quarantine pick up lines and Jasmine has put on some extra weight. Doesn't it sound familiar?

"Some of my recent pieces came about from the COVID-19 pandemic. I have some extra time (and motivation & inspiration) to create them due to being in quarantine. I wanted to find a way to spread some joy and find some light in the situation that we're all in. I thought it was a good idea to combine Disney characters," the artist told Bored Panda.

AL added that Disney has always been major in artist's life: "Disney has always been an important part of my life. I was raised on VHS Disney movies, so having Disney as subjects for my art brings me joy and reminds me of my childhood."

38-year-old artist from Northern California works in sales and marketing in the food industry by day. During the pandemic the artist has been fortunate enough to be able to work from home and actually find a lot of inspiration for the series.

"My inspiration comes from life and things that are happening around me. I have a few illustrations about toilet paper—and the inspiration actually came from my personal experience of having difficulties trying to find toilet paper during the pandemic."

"I decided to share my artwork on Instagram in 2018. I was following a few artists on the app and thought it would be fun to share my own work as well. The feedback I received has been great! The Disney and art community that I interact with have been very supportive."

I'm guessing this is about how many people actually dress for video conferences?

Yeah and a news reporter did this thinking nobody would see but his camera was pointed a bit too low

This was perfect because I scrolled down and was like "Yeah, and...". Then I scrolled down and saw the rest of the image. Epic.

Yes it does. It's a reference to how people dress for Zoom calls, and they probably wouldn't be using Zoom if we weren't dealing with coronavirus.

"Art block or lack of motivation can be a challenge sometimes. The biggest reward is hearing how my art has made someone’s day or made them laugh. It'll will continue to be a way for me to express myself creatively and be able to spark joy in others. My little way of giving to the world."

Our day-to-day lives have changed a lot since the pandemic started. For a lot of us, life has slowed down, we’re spending way more time at home, and we’ve got enough spare time to finally evaluate what’s most important to us. Even though the quarantine is scary, it’s also provided us with a whole new perspective on life.

Some of us have rediscovered long-forgotten talents while others have started up new hobbies and projects. Like building cat tanks out of cardboard. Or dressing up in silly costumes when you take your dog for a walk. And some of us have become everyday superheroes by reaching out to the community and lending it a helping hand like the teacher who walks to his students’ homes every single day to bring them food.

If I were Ariel I would turn back into a mermaid and let humans deal with Covid-19 while i'm partying under the sea.

It took me a second to realize it was an apple instead of ice cream. I was all 'why is the ice cream wearing pants!?'
