People Are Sharing Pics Of Their Dogs Giving The Most Disapproving Looks For The #DisapprovingDogChallenge, And It’s Hilarious (30 Pics)
Our beloved doggies are mostly known for being energetic, adorable, and extremely loving creatures. But we've gotta admit, nothing in this wide, wild world we live in is either black or white, and our furry companions are no exception. And while we usually see our doggers being their happy and adorable selves, sometimes they’re not so cheerful. Sometimes they're judgy, disapproving, and giving us dirty human-like looks. Which often makes them even more adorable, but let's not tell them that.
Turns out, dogs giving us looks of disapproval is now a thing—so much so that there's even a viral #DisapprovingDogChallenge hashtag on Facebook inviting dog owners from all over the world to share pics of their best friends being grumpy and giving dirty looks.
Without further ado, Bored Panda invites you to look through this exclusive selection of iconic dog photos from the #DisapprovingDogChallenge on Facebook.

Does it count if she looks like this all the time? I think she might!
But here's a question—can dogs truly feel disapproval? Or is it just us interpreting their facial expressions in our human ways? According to Wag!, disapproval is an emotion most agree dogs can experience. "This means they can not only sense your disapproval, but they can also let you know when they are unhappy with something," Wag! writes in their article.

"Dogs are able to experience a wide range of emotions, very similar to humans. While they may not have the capability to feel some of the deeper emotions we can, the fact of the matter is that they are more like us than we thought," reads the article on Wag!
According to Wag!, "in order to truly understand how dogs feel and what disapproval is like to them, we must look at dogs like we do young children. It is thought that dogs have the same emotional capacity of a two to two-and-a-half year old human, which can help explain their actions and reactions!"
