And they took away her *body*. Why is she so weirdly thinner than she was in reality? Let her have her body, hips and all, dang it!

Marilyn was perfectly imperfect. These are like someone made a Marilyn filter with added facetuning and used a skinny model. Not Marilyn, just Marilyn inspired.

Let her rest. I think it's gross to use what basically is advanced Photoshop and a dead celebrity to advance your brand. Also, an explosive result? 8 months for tech teams to create? Like truly, it's just very well done Photoshop. I feel like most of that time was for photography and arranging clothing.

And did they pay her estate what she would have earned if she actually modelled the outfits?

As a huge Marilyn fan, these were pretty and artistic but deeply deeply unsettling. Someone said major uncanny valley vibes and I wholeheartedly agree. It's a no for me.

I now want the punk version, if requests are being taken.

Something about this seems creepy and disrespectful. And I could care less about Marilyn Monroe but even I know when something doesn't feel right.

Doesn’t look like her at all!

They all are missing that certain something the real Marilyn Monroe had: that vulnerability and sweetness and human-ness. As a result, they look like Stepford Marilyns.

The clothes are 1950's style and she may have worn them if they were around when she was but it still looks wrong. The faces are good but they don't quite look like MM.
