Giraffes as tall as skyscrapers, gigantic insects, Godzilla-sized sloths, or cute pets turned into monsters—these humongous animals are nightmare fuel. Luckily for us, we don‘t have to experience this messed-up world to witness it, thanks to digital manipulation.
DesignCrowd asked digital artists from all over the world to depict animals disproportionately larger in relation to other objects and they delivered. The key to this hoax contest called Oversized Animals is ironically not to get caught up in the process and overdo it, so the images remain somewhat “realistic” and believable.
