Designers Were Challenged To Rename Popular Brand Designs To Reflect What They Are Really Like, Here Are 40 Of The Best
Slogans and logos are a tool to make the brand more memorable. But sometimes (or very often, as some think) they don't actually represent the real image of the brand; consumers often see the side that the brand wants them to see.
So the users of Design Crowd, a platform for photo editors, took the challenge of remaking the logos and slogans so that they would be a little closer to reality. And hence they remade the names, slogans and logos in a satirical manner. While some of them are dead on, and some a little bit off the mark, they show an alternative, more honest side of marketing which we wouldn't normally see.

If you don't know what Design Crowd is, here's what they had to say about themselves online: "Our mission is to help businesses find the best design in the world, faster, and at a price that fits their budget. We also want to give designers the chance to earn money for their creative skills."
"Perfect for custom graphic, logo, web and print design. DesignCrowd is an online creative marketplace that helps start-ups, businesses and entrepreneurs connect with a global network of designers. DesignCrowd also owns and manages BrandCrowd, an online logo maker." So if you're ever searching for a designer to make you a logo, website, or anything similar, go to DesignCrowd's website and see what they have to offer. And If you're a designer yourself, maybe you'll find some new career opportunities."
They've also told how long they've been doing these kinds of challenges: "DesignCrowd acquired a website Worth1000.com back in 2014. Contests like these have been running on Worth1000 for many years. They've now been ported to DesignCrowd. So, since at least 2014 on our platform and longer on Worth1000." They shared that they have many contests on their website and their community is quite big, getting from 20 to 60 entries per contest.
Design Crowd does these contests all just for their community: "We call these contests 'community contests.' These are inspired, run, and entered purely by our community of designers."
"DesignCrowd is a graphic design marketplace where people looking for custom design (logos, business cards, print design, etc.) can get access to our global community of designers."
Their mission "is to help businesses find the best design in the world, faster, and at a price that fits their budget. We also want to give designers the chance to earn money for their creative skills."
However, the contest winners don't get paid, and the main reason for doing them is just for fun. "These contests are not usually paid in any way (though we do periodically run paid community contests such as this one). These contests are simply to show off your creativity. There is a small degree of gamification whereby designers can win points."
"Hope you enjoy the creativity from our designers. If you want to see more, head over to the community pages on DesignCrowd."

Well, okay... but there are multiple names for boobies. Bet you can't think of at least one other one while looking at this logo
Please tell me I wasn't the only one who thought the coffee was a bug when I was younger😅
I've heard economy guys refer to Walmart as "the welfare kings" of America because so many of Walmart employees are on state welfare/WIC. And yeah, sometimes they do pay above minimum wage but only like.50 or .25 cents more but they keep your hours below 40 so you don't qualify for benefits because you are not "a full-time employee". So they suck no matter what.
Murder King? Am I being dense in not understanding this, or is it just some PETA/vegan bullshit?
Perhaps some sore vegetarians on here with the "murder king" and other such gems. Animals are food, to humans as well as other animals, it's nature. Get over it
And for the love of God will people stop making their clearly carnivorous pets go vegan???? That's just animal cruelty.
Load More Replies...Everything food on here basically means "if it has sugar, dont eat it, if its meat, dont eat it, if its coffee, dont drink it" so I guess I'll die. And no, fruits have sugar. Natural sugar, but it's still sugar.
