Artist Reimagines Celebrities In Different Recognizable Cartoon Styles And The Result Is Totally Spot On (17 Pics)
Interview With ArtistDino Tomic is a talented Croatian artist who has become famous for his fascinating tattoos and pencil drawings. Tomic began regularly publishing his work online in 2014 which has since earned him over 250K followers on Facebook and 787K on Instagram. These numbers are insane, but once you check out his art, you instantly understand the man is worth every single one of his fans.
Currently, the pandemic has Tomic trapped inside his home just like so many of us. So, to keep himself busy and his mind sharp, the artist decided to start a fun little side project -- drawing celebrities and characters in different cartoon styles. Tomic has already completed 17 subjects, which means he's designed 153 characters, and the results are absolutely spot-on. Continue scrolling and see for yourself!

First of all, this whole Corona-thing has become A MASS HYSTERIA !!! I'm a working paralegal( not an attorney) but this guy might take a second and reflect upon just HOW this is going to LOOK TO THE STATE BAR ASSOCIATION, which can be a bit touchy about similar issues. ( The Bar Assoc. wants STABLE, DIGNIFIED LAWYERS, NOT QUESTIONABLE, OFF-THE-WALL ONES. ) Catherine H.
NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Since I'm stuck inside due to the coronavirus, I wanted to try out something new," Tomic told Bored Panda. And even though these portraits may not have challenged his skills as much as the impressive projects he's known for, they sure were an exciting distraction from what has been going on in the world the past couple of months.
"When I want to expand the series and reimagine someone new, I usually simply listen to my fans and pick one of the famous people they've suggested."
Bob Ross
I totally agree, the fact that they are all painting each other adds a whole other level of smart fun to it.
Load More Replies...Perfect! I don't watch any of those shows but I've seen ads for most of them!
"We wash our brushes with odorless thinner, shake 'em off, (chuckles) and just... beat the devil outta 'em"
Tomic has been drawing since kindergarten but he began taking it seriously at about 16 to 18 years old. From that point on, he has almost never had a day when he didn't draw something. He's completely self-taught and is constantly stepping outside his comfort zone to continue learning. If you want to see what the artist is truly capable of, head on to his social media accounts and check out his large scale family portraits. That series has taken him 3 years to finish and it's the one he's most proud of.
Johnny Depp
So obvious that Hunter A Thompson should have been in the style of Gorillaz and Edward Scissorhands in the style of Tim Burton.
I like Tim Burton's the best. Because it looks the most like him...to me anyway.
Probably also because he is in like every Tim Burton movie ever so the style suits him imo
Load More Replies...There already is a scene in Rick and Morty with Johnny Depp, and he looks different.
Donald Trump
2nd that. but an orange that's old and desiccated. less like 'A', much more like 'B" oo-5ea09f9e6fc8f.gif
the Disney version kinda makes him look like Hades (I'm not trying to be offensive to Hades btw)
Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.)
my favorite is gravity falls but the archer one seems pretty realistic.
The Spongebob... Just... my EYES... that is the most cursed image I've seen in a LONG time...
The lego one is just spot on, but the Spongebob one gave me nightmares...
Billie Eilish
i like the creativity of these drawings! and the cartoon styles you have used.
Stan Lee
Ant Man. South Park is notorious for finding ways to keep details vague, hence the wearing of gloves so they don't need to draw hands. Can't get much more vague than a tiny outline. :)
Load More Replies...An Egg
So it's about this scientist named Rick and he turns himself into an egg he becomes Egged Rick. Funniest s**t I've ever seen.
The JoJo's Bizarre Adventure one is my favorite it just looks funny to me
Kim Jong-Un
I would have to agree with you there. Actually a piece of sh!t
Load More Replies...You should do Trump in the lower left style... Since he's besties of Kim & Vladimir!
He's probably the lower middle one - we just haven't heard about it yet.
Doctors
So this guy could use the "my hero academia" style to draw actual heroes, but nooooo!!!!! He used it with the orange clown
The Rock (Dwayne Johnson)
Elon Musk
Tiger King
Adventure Time Joe Exotic is the most cursed thing I've seen in a long time
They’re all wrong! The eyebrow ring shouldn’t actually be ON the eyebrow! 🤣
Michael Jordon
Post Malone
Mike Tyson
The FOP one hahah - I love all the floating “hats” but this one is the best!
The FOP one—looks more like an EAR than a hat.

omg I love the fnaf and cuphead one and the Zelda one isn't too far off
Usually I get bored with these, but the artist kept changing the styles and I really enjoyed it
I love this but I've already seen too many articles before about pop culture characters reskins and recolors like Disney princesses
Yes, but I think BuzzFeed suffers with that problem and they made an article about Disney princess as lukewarm bowls which satirizes this issue and this kind of fanfiction belongs at newgrounds or devianart
Load More Replies...This was excellent! I know that some of these people/characters have actually been in some of these roles, which makes it even funnier to me for some reason. Thank you!
These were fun! I liked the South Park style ones, they made me giggle.
