I ‘Paint’ Using Needle And Thread

Hello. I’m Meko Gelashvili, 23 years old girl from Tbilisi, Georgia. I’m an embroidery art lover. I also love photography.

I’m using satin stitch embroidery and ribbon stitch embroidery techniques. Each artwork takes 1, 2 or even 3 weeks to finish. I hope you like it.

This work is breathtaking! I scrolled several times through your work trying to absorb all the colors... especially the water reflections. I am marveled at the fine stitches. Do you also sell your work?

These works of art have to be the most beautiful things I have seen. Your speed in producing them is insane. I am in awe of your talent.

This is very impressive work. Even if you living in Georgia (the country, fyi for the U.S. readers), I expect you can still internationally. There are regular international posters on PB. You should browse the pages and ask for advice on how to sell. Good luck!!

Wow I've never seen this satin ribbon technique before. You seem to use that one over the painted or printed surfaces to add dimension and color and then it looks like you use with the traditional satin stitch to add more texture and color and light. Well done!

Unbelievable!! If you can part with your pieces you should try and sell them on Etsy. But send them insured and with notification if they arrived!! And don't undercharge. If the thread is high quality and won't fade, they'd have to be several hundred Euros each, if not more.

Exquisite work! You could maybe try a macro lens, or lower angles to really showcase the depth and dimensions of such work! Could help you sell your work!

Beautiful work Meko. I too love embroidery, but my output is glacial in comparison. I would love to visit your beautiful city one day and see Georgia. I live in New Zealand.
