If you're a regular Bored Panda reader, you've probably seen one of our pieces on bad design. (If not, you can go through a crash course here, here, and here). It's actually one of our favorite topics.

But every once in a while we feel like we need to equalize the scales, and show some good creations too. Roughly half a year ago, we turned to the Instagram account 'Design Therapy' to do so. And it worked like a charm — the social media startup is an excellent source for exploring innovation.

So now, since they've kept active and shared plenty of awesome content, we decided to do an update.

Continue scrolling to check out cool cat towers, glass chairs, toy pianos, and many more visionary products. The future is now, folks, and it's up to us to reinvent it the way we like it.

Not sure about this one. If you were to actually implement this, you would probably put several of them per block on several streets, and given that unlike an (ideal) streetlamp where the light points to the ground this has all the light pointing upwards to the sky and would increase the light pollution cities

I would think for making sure pedestrians don’t trip or fall when it’s dark out. Also for helping drivers with parking and hitting the curb maybe?

It looks like a neat way of letting your cats roam the house without leaving all the doors open for heating or air con. But, if I was in this house and didn't know about the kitty door and noticed it move when I closed the door behind me, I'd probably end up having a minor panic I'd broken the door somehow.

Probably the door establishes a zone barrier for heating and air conditioning. Children can be taught how to turn a door k**b, although I am in favor of lever-action door hardware.

It would be better without the joint lines. The three panes of glass could be welded together. Yes, it is possible to weld glass. The challenge is finding someone who can do it. My father was an expert at welding glass. I should have learned it from him when I had the change

No real wine collector would use this. Neither temperature nor humidity can be regulated, opening the drawers shakes the bottles, bottles are not at the right angle for storage.

This is not Diet Wiegman! This is my artwork called "TheUnglory". I would appreciate that You'd at least mention my name if you post my photo of my artwork. Kind of ironic though, that this artwork is about the ungloryness of being an artis, and the photo of the work is posted all over the world in social media with no credits to the artist who created it.

On the internet I can’t tell sometimes.. In case this wasn’t sarcasm: They use pumps with big creations like this, if by mouth, omg yes, that would be a complete nightmare, lol. With the pumps they blow these balloons up so fast. Though every now and then one does pop, even while already blown up but while putting it together, just having been put together or even while connecting one close to it. Which of course can be incredibly frustrating for balloons in difficult positions. It is fascinating to watch them put things like this together though! And make all the “bubbles” as even, in size, as possible. You can see on the top right they are a little less even in size compared to the top left. And have a little more space in between. Not criticizing though, bc I know I would be terrible at it. Big time! It is hard and difficult work. Depending on creations they can take hours on end to create! Some displays or creations (way) more than 12 hours!

Concept bikes have been around for decades. I used to work in the industry. None of the hundreds I inspected ever worked. They were just bicycle-shaped sculptures. Some were just plastic mock-ups.

This reminds me of something called a 'tulpenvaas', a Dutch vase for tulips. They were invented when tulips were very expensive. Because of the vases design you needed less tulips for a full looking bouquet.
