Cinnamon The Hedgehog Is Living Her Best Life, Here’s Her Average Day (17 Pics)
Since I learned about hedgehogs in science class at 7 years old, it has been my dream to own one as an animal companion. Growing up my favorite stuffed animal was a hedgehog, but now I’m lucky to have one! This past December, I had the opportunity to adopt a baby girl, Cinnamon, from a rescue and she has totally changed my life. It’s been so wonderful getting to observe these little creatures and see her loving, adventurous, playful spirit shine.
Being a photographer and fairly crafty, what started as a fun project of making Cinnamon little furniture and clothing has quickly evolved into a fun Instagram account sure to make you smile. I have so much fun creating little scenes for her and capturing her personality!
This is just a look into the average day of hedgehog Cinnamon living her best life.
Follow along on Instagram to see her daily adventures and adorable hedgehog photos!

Waking up from well-rested sleep, ready to start my day!
But first… coffee! (Fair trade and organic, of course)
A few minutes later, realizing one oat milk lavender latte is not enough caffeine to get me through this day
But now, it’s onto some yoga. Got to get these chakras aligned!
And a quick nature walk to meditate and bring my body temperature down. Brrrr!
Ahhh, after all that sweating and moving it’s time to relax in the tub
If you need me, I’ll be chilling in a hedgie burrito…
Followed by some artisanal doughnuts for an afternoon snack because #treatyoself
When the recipe calls for a pinch…. but you love cinnamon so you use a whole cup!
Enjoying some chill time with my favorite doggo
Chilling in my cozy new chair

Letting my inner artist come out to shine! (I’ll be taking commissions soon)
Stealing some hearts on Instagram
Now it’s time to wind down and retreat to my bamboo tipi. Being a hedgehog is hard work!
Finally, some light reading before bed
Snuggly in bed
After a long, exhausting day it’s time to get some zzzzs! Thank you for following along xx

Share on FacebookI am not sure I would call it living the best life. Being used as a photo prop is more realistic. Let the hedgehog live a natural life and use a felted one as prop instead. There are some really cute ones in another bored panda-post.
I don't advocate keeping non-domesticated animals as pets, but these pictures are adorable. The settings are so detailed.
Thank you Rita! I agree with your advocacy, however Most North American pet hedgehogs, typically called African pygmy hedgehogs, were bred from African species and are considered domesticated. These little animals can make terrific companions when housed, fed and cared for appropriately, which I assure you she is. She was also from a litter of a rescued mother so I’m trying my best to give her the greatest life I can. ☺️
Hi restless! Thank you for your concern, I agree she would be happy to roam wild but I definitely give her all my love and care. We live in Canada so it’s not near warm enough to let her go adventure outside but she gets many many hours of play time every single day. These hedgehogs (African Pygmy) are not native to North America and she is also a rescue, so I believe Cinnamon is getting the best quality of life she possibly can considering the circumstances ☺️
This again. Once again boredPande Is trying to sell images of a distressed animal as cute
Hi Peko! The safety and well being is the top priority of my hedgehog. She is never distressed and always very curious as I usually set up the scene and then let her explore the area and find some mealworms I hide around. Also some things in the photos have been photoshopped, and my camera is set to a silent shoot mode so the shutter doesn’t disturb her. ☺️
