Well, if we can discuss whether it is right or wrong to kiss childen on the lips (why doesn't everyone decide for theirself, ffs) we can forget for a moment that children are dying in Syria and Jemen, that we have incompetent politicians, and that we spoil the future of our planet. Isn't that comforting?

I do. I might be considered narrow minded or whatever, but I don't understand it. There are many ways you can show affection to a child, kiss their cheeks, forehead, hands... Why lips? As a child I found it extremely gross when an adult tried to do that, had an old aunt who did. I associate lips kissing with romantic stuff between adults. Everyone do you, I just won't kiss any kid on the mouth, ever.

Thank you! The thought of kissing your kids (or any random adult, for that matter) on the lips totally creeps me out. Can't recall my parents ever kissing me anywhere (thank God), they hugged me and stuff, and that was more than good enough. Other people can do whatever they want, but for me, kissing on the lips is for adults who are romantically involved. That's it.
