Before comics, Dimitri was doing stand-up comedy, which turned out to be not as profitable as the ironic and humorous illustrations he's been drawing for quite some time now. In one of his interviews, the artist revealed that sometimes he can make as much money for one drawing as for a whole gig.

As Dimitri shared with Bored Panda before, it takes him from four to six hours to finish one drawing. Usually, he spends around two hours coming up with different concepts that he later shares with his friends for their honest opinions. He realizes only those ideas that his friends liked the most.

“I just want to keep drawing comics and making people happy, and when there are a lot of them, I will publish my own book. Promise you will buy it!”
