Dad Spends Months Talking To His Baby In The Womb, She Reacts To His Voice With The Biggest Smile Once Born
Every parent could attest to the statement that there are very little things that could compare to seeing your child for the very first time. Especially if it’s your firstborn. One Brazilian couple had this magical moment not too long ago and it was especially sweet because of their daughter’s reaction.
Just moments after Antonella was born, she graced her parents with the most adorable smile ever. And there might be just the perfect reason for it. Turns out, her father Flávio Dantas used to speak to the baby while she was still in her mother’s womb.
In a touching Instagram post, the father described the moment Antonella was born as magical. “I can’t explain the feeling I felt at that moment,” he wrote. “Every day I talked to my daughter in her mother’s womb, I always told her that I loved her, that Dad was there and that I was going to be the best father in the world! When she was born, how did she repay me? With the sweetest smile ever,” the father rejoiced.

“A love that doesn’t fit inside the chest!” was how Flávio described his feelings for the firstborn daughter. The man was so excited about his child’s arrival that he celebrated by posting multiple photos on social media with many heartwarming captions. “God gave me my biggest reason to raise my head, let go of sadness and go after the world to be able to give you,” the man wrote under one of the pictures.
So her reaction to him once she was born was definitely a pleasant surprise

Antonella’s mother Tarsila also shared photos of her daughter with equally sweet messages next to them. In one of the pictures the woman shared, she described her daughter as “a gift sent by my Lord”. Another photo showcased the mother embracing her daughter with the caption that read: “If wealth were measured in words, I would sum it up in just one: you. My rare jewel cut by the hands of God.”

The parents are raising Antonella in Rio de Janeiro where the couple resides. Flávio is a naval soldier while Tarsila used to work in a kiosk as an attendant and a cook.

Share on FacebookWhen my daughter had colic I would strap her to my chest in a pitch dark wardrobe closet and gently stroke her hair while saying over and over "Relax...relax...it's daddy" in voice an octave lower than my usual speaking voice. She's four now but when she gets tired I just rest her head on my shoulder and do the jedi mind trick voice and she passes out just like she did when she was a baby. DSC8092Ret...954114.jpg
This is absolutely beautiful! Men don't just become father after the child is born!
The magical, mysterious, supernatural, unexplainable, inexplicable, cute, beautiful, adorable, sweet, loving, affectionate, caring, sacrificing, irresistible, uncontainable, irrevocable, uplifting, edifying, unalterable, joyous bond between parent and child!
I heard of a father who spoke to his baby before her birth. He called the baby "Homer". After she came out, he said, "Hello, Homer" and she wiggled in recognition.
I would sing to my daughter when I was pregnant. She would kick me, and not in a happy excited way. When she was born, I would rock her in my arms and sing to her. She would scrunch up her face and arch her back or kick me. She's a young woman now, and still does not like my singing.
This proves what I've always maintained- that infants do "really" smile. Babies make sad little frowns when unhappy, but nobody ever says, "oh, that's just gas," like they do when infants smile. Beautiful little family!
Such a beautiful baby. Daddy and baby are going to have a beautiful bond!
And babies can hear really well in the womb. I was almost nine months pregnant with my son when Independence Day rolled around. We went to the big fireworks show. Every time there was a big boom, my tummy would jump. For years after he was born, my son would hide in his room, on his bed, pillow pressed against his ears when there were fireworks going off.
This is a beautiful expression of what it means to be human. To say that this baby was not human or a parasite before it was born and performing an abortion would be an expression of the most inhuman.
The baby is actually demonstrating the reflex of mimicry which is exhibited during the first days of life.
They're going to have the best one to father and daughter could ever have
She is cute, but the sheer number of carefully stage photos makes me feel sorry for that child already.
