If you think your dad's embarrassing then you obviously haven't met Chris Martin (not the singer from Coldplay. Just to clarify). Because this guy doesn't do typical embarrassing dad stuff like dancing in front of your friends or threatening to kill your boyfriend. No. This dad trolls his own teenage daughter. On the internet. And it's hilarious.
"So my daughter has been posting sexy selfies of herself and instead of telling her to stop, well, I thought of something better," wrote Mr. Martin on Instagram. He's a comedian and podcaster from Washington, US, and although his daughter Cassie might refute the first claim, we think this guy's a true contender for Dad of the Year. Take a look at the pictures below to see what we mean, and don't forget to vote for the most embarrassing!

I get grossed out by people constantly taking selfies and posting them... get over yourself! Way to go dad!
Either #2 or #3 would be the worst or most embarassing to me although, they're ALL pretty bad
Makes it look silly coming from him. I think if I was the girl I'd stop posting so dad would stop too.
Whats with her pouting in every picture? Doesn't make her look cute; makes her look churlish.
I think the selfies of his narcissistic daughter are far more embarrassing
Does it make you feel better about yourself to body shame a teenager?
Load More Replies...Go find his high school yearbook. Then think of about 25 years of fast food, cheap pizza, & canned beer. Lots & LOTS of beer
Load More Replies...I think it was supposed to look like he was picking at his teeth.
Load More Replies...Wow...her selfies look generic and clichéd. The strive for individualism seems to make today's youngster more indistinguishable than ever.
I would share your comment if I could! Well said!
Load More Replies...She has the same duck face in every photo. Maybe the saying is true. If you keep making that face it will get stuck that way
She's just slowly developing a real beak. : P
Load More Replies...I dont think we should be critical of the girl. Shes a beautiful young woman whom is trying to be like her peers. The likes of celebrities such as the Kardashians have prioritised looks over inner beauty. We need to redirect our young to real self worth. #beautyisonlyskindeep #realbeautyisontheinside
I honestly don't see what's wrong with these photos. I mean I know I'm from a younger generation but who cares? She's not objectifying herself and since when did how a person takes a selfie speak about what kind of person they are?
Selfies are fun and silly. Humans have been fun and silly for thousands of years. It is perfectly natural; this just the modern twist. Modern, free society allows for this rather wonderful side of humanity to be expressed, but it also means there will be plenty of miserable people condemning it. How sad for them. And I include rather a lot of the grumbling posters on this thread.
Is it sad that I think some of her dads selfies are better than hers lol
Okay, they're not "sexy". They're pretty. Maybe they are a little cliché or whatever people think bur there's nothing overtly sexual about these. She's a pretty girl, taking cute selfies and she feels good about them.
Why so many otherwise cute and beautiful girls love to look stupid with the carefully chosen face expression (duck face and such). Just because your face muscles will make your face shape appear sharper, it doesn't mean that expression of a "cute little dumb" will make you look beautiful. The choice of cute, cool, sexy and attractive face expressions is endless, especially if you're naturally photogenic like that.
There's nothing "sexy" with her pictures... Stop sexualising a teen girl. Her dad is extremely confused about how teens express themselves. Mocking his own daughter and making fun of her doesn't make him a "cool dad". He says that he does this in order to stop her daughter from posting selfies but this will probably stop her from trusting him and being confident in her body. If she has a depression problem and loses her self confidence, he still won't understand her.
What the f**k!? Why are you reacting about the girl? Lmao xD Is this modern society now?
'Not the Chris Martin from Coldplay' If it was... Well let's not talk about that 😅 He deserves NO SHAME.
I like her tattoos. Not the selfies though. Preferred her dad's - they looked better in my opinion
This is pure class... Chris Martin has a wicked sense of humour. I lost my very eccentric dad 23 years ago and had he been part of our current generation, I reckon this is something he would have done... not sure I'd have found it funny as a teenager but it's certainly given me a giggle as an adult parent of a son who sadly doesn't pose for selfies like girls do... pmsl 🐯
I'm just wondering why he has a problem with selfies when he has already allowed her to get tats at her age.
kudos to dad but methinks he mightve just made himself the butt of all her friends jokes os that age group wont get the intended irony, or will they? what does our 14 yr old blogger, Redino, think is this an effective plot to get daughter to stop, or not?
wtf these comments are so judjemental and hypercritical that i just think...why? shes just a teenager and her dad is just criticizing her actitude in a soft, ironic way.and making fun of it its just the most effective way to hit the right spot
Its so sad for a generation to have their confidence based on how many likes they get in instragram....
Besides: why is the photo quality so damn low? After a rise in the last few years, the photos nowadays posted on the net compete in quality with 80's polaroids. And now do not tell me this is some deliberately applied filter...
Some of the pictures are made with front camera. It is an explanation for this bad quality.
Load More Replies...I think the dad is brilliant and provides an excellent social commentary on women objectifying themselves from such a young age in social media. A very positive and proactive message.
I think it's good what his is doing maybe she will stop doubt it but maybe
she might be 18+... old enough to get them by herself...
