This Online Group Has People Sharing Only The Most Blessed Pics And It’s Like Internet Heaven (50 Pics)
Ever since the dawn of the world wide web, the internet has proven to be one hell of a hectic place. Opposite things here coexist: the good and the bad, the real and fictional, the sad news and the good news, the upsetting side and its wholesome twin.
Speaking of which, few things can make our day brighter and mood lighter than browsing through that wholesome content. There’s even a hugely popular Facebook group dedicated to precisely that, and they call it “Blessed Imageposting,” which means posting only the most blessed, joyous, wholesome images out there.
A whopping 437.4k members swear by it, and who wouldn’t if it tucks you in like a warm blanket!

Pangolins always looks like they're bringing bad news in a nervous fashion, like "I'm sorry to bother you master, but..." :p

From discover wildlife.com - Why are pangolins endangered? Pangolins are hunted for meat, for use in traditional medicine and as fashion accessories, particularly in China and Vietnam. The large-scale illegal trade in Asian pangolins is drastically driving down their numbers, and pangolin trafficking is now huge (and illegal) business. Even though pangolin scales are made of exactly the same stuff as your fingernails, they are being slaughtered by their thousands because some people believe that their scales have magical medicinal properties. In 2017, the government of Cameroon burned 8 tonnes of confiscated pangolin scales, which works out at around 15000 murdered animals.
This is so sad :( I can't grasp that even nowadays people believe more in witchcraft, magic pangolin scales and gorilla-hand-pickled-in-schnapps making you fertile than in proven science. But well, then there's those anti-vaxxers eating cow medication, so there's that... =/
Load More Replies...It's past disgusting, cruel, insane and any other word you can think of that conveys just how inhuman this is. All because of superstition and irrationality of people. In this day and age!. I have no sense of mercy for poachers whatsoever. No fines. Yes jail, but you get to experience some pain before you go there. You're there for a LONG time. May get downvoted, but anyone who is caught poaching elephants, tigers and the like, no trial. You die on the very spot that animal did.
On the other hand, poachers are the ones coming from lowest incomes and sometimes having to do poaching due to lack of opportunities. Sometimes there is no other option; either you do this or starve or be terribly poor. That's the situation in developing countries. It's similar with any illegal industry; punishing the ones that have to do it because they have no other choice is not going to stop it or making it better. Those people are considered "dispensable" and will be easily replaced. Many other actions will be more positive: goverments introducing opportunity programs to poachers, educating people in general about the dangers of poaching, about this animal not having super healing powers, etc, dismantling the cartels that have the money, the connections and the resources, etc. Remember: every story has different versions. I am not defending the poachers, but it helps to understand their motifs and find a solution that can truly help them.

The inhumane treatment and slaughter of Pangolins for use in eastern "medicine" is abhorrent. LEAVE THEM ALONE!
How can these monsters kill these poor things for some rubbish so-called medicinal properties?
They were already endangered but COVID is pretty much forcing them to extinction. First, they can catch it and are dying from it. Second, since many believe they gave the disease to us, they are being destroyed like plague rats by some. Third, they were already one of the most heavily trafficked animals in the world and the pandemic has destroyed the tourist economy where some of them are found. These villages have caused a huge increase in poaching as it became their sole source of income. None of those factors includes climate change eliminating their habitat. As BP oil likes to say, they are fracked.
he looks like a 7 year old asking his mum for a dollar to buy an ice cream
Pangolins be like: hey master, Dobby here... I genuinely love pangolins NGL
This is so sad why are they being hunted? Besides the fact that poachers suck. :/
Their scales and skin are highly sought after by clothing designers and their ilk. As well as jackassese in China who could not care less about killing all the elephants for f*****g ivory trinkets. OR killing Rhino's for a bullshit belief in the powder will give them boners (No) just given them viagra. And killinlg bears for their various parts ALSO believed to give these f*****g Chinese scumbags with tiny d***s a boner. NOPE. Sowe are losing so many species for men with serious insecurities and people who want the skin and scales for CLOTHING. WHAT is wrong with this race. I honestly hope we are in invaded by ALIENS who will turn this planet into a preserve while removing us from the planet as a dangerous parasite to the flora and fauna of the planet. WE DO NOT DESERVE TO LIVE HERE.
Okay how about we do something about the poachers? And in what country are they?
Wholesomeness is a relatively new trend on the internet that is progressive, fashionable and spreads feel-good feelings. Previously, the internet was perceived as one hell of an infinite, often shady (if you press on where you shouldn’t) place where everyone would do, post, comment, and insult whatever as long as they were in the comfort of their homes.
But this new wave of wholesomeness that emerged some time around 2016 has provided people with little pockets of positivity and good vibes, something that wasn’t really there before. First, it was on Twitter and Tumblr, then the wholesome memes, posts and pics followed. The wholesome content started advocating things like self-respect, hard work, active listening, healthy relationships, and balanced diets.
Wholesome content today serves as something that ‘fluff pieces’ do for TV news. Essentially, they give us a break, a reset from the tiring flow of bad news that we have had in recent years. And it all makes sense: people crave good things, they look for assurance that after all, in the end, we are all deep down good people, willing to work together for the benefit of all. Wholesome posts are a perfect switch that immediately takes you to a better, brighter place.

The biggest misnomer in the world today is Mankind. It should be two words Man and Kind. This post proves there are some people living by the last word. Thank heavens!
My sister and BIL have two Corgis, female a year older than her "brother;" goofy little things fought and snarled at each other whenever I went to their house, trying to establish who got to lie on my feet first. Probably wouldn't do that now that I've been gone for five years, and they're now seven-almost-eight, and six-almost-seven years old.
So enjoyed those. Glad we have animals in our lives.....me? I have a mini Schnauzer!
