if it's illegal or not is irrelevant. making more and more wild animals "domesticated" just shows how arrogant and selfish people are. you think that just because they're cute you have the right to capture and keep them? i'm glad at least some people see how wrong that is.

Don't worry, they don't get it. At least 2 of them are safe from humans in the wild, that hunt them and kill them for pleasure.

I think you are being a great steward for foxes everywhere! You're helping to educate people about them and providing us with wonderful images and stories of their behaviour based on your interactions and observations. (You also made sure to tell people they are smelly sometimes and can be destructive.) I for one thank you for the very interesting story!

you got the point! we all were wild once. And live in the wild is not always the best place. So let this human be, she is not hurting anyone.

and it is illegal for a reason in so many places in the world.. just think before you write something dumb and start comparing apples with oranges.. According to your logic every wild animal is fine to keep as a pet.. Well I hope you chose a freaking lion, that would surely help to thin the herd of people that think like you and make this world much better for animals.

sigh.. the fact that there are only a handful of breeders around the world says enough about how domesticated these animals are. We should not enforce them and stop while this is still in an early state. Yes you are right but the fact that there have been thousands of years gone by we cannot change the fact that dogs and cats are part of our domesticated lives. Foxes are still wild animals and the few that are being held as pets should be just the ones and the breeding needs to stop. As the hunting for these has to stop as well. your view is exactly what is wrong with so much in this world. There are thousands of kids that already are obese.. so why would we bother to teach them about real food and its importance..? That is what you are saying. And I say that every kid that has obesity due to a poor diet is one too many. Like every wild animal that is held as a pet is one too many. Don't visit any zoo for that matter as well.

Yes, and since she Noor said that domestication happens over thousands of years properally, why not let this domestication continue if that is true? Because cats were in similar stages centuries ago, things take time we can't speed up domestication- not that she is suggesting that but, why must dogs and cats be the only approved pet? I think it is because it is the most common, just as many people agree with eating meat very frequently: because it is *perceived* as normal. :]

and you say she isn't hurting anyone? How about the fact that these poor animals would be better off in the wild, where they belong. This is pet slavery and although they seem happy I would bet they are more happy in the wild where they belong. (and yes I realize that these animals can't be put in the wild anymore. Humans ruined that already). But still it is a shame that people like this get a platform on this page.
