Let us introduce you to Kelsie Brumet, an illustrator and artist or as she calls herself on Instagram, "an artsy little gremlin". She creates cute and funny comics that bring to life a range of relatable scenarios, from everyday life situations to amusing mishaps.
Kelsie's comic project began as a collection of "very, very badly drawn MS-Paint comic strips". Since then, it has evolved into an ongoing webcomic portraying not only her own experiences, but also "the various shenanigans of life".

Kelsie Brumet does not only create funny comics but is also a watercolor, ink and digital artist creating traditional paintings. She has worked as an artist for several years, selling her paintings at art shows and taking on freelance projects. "Inspired by fantasy, nature, and a touch of whimsy, I illustrate both realistic depictions of the natural world and fantastical places and creatures," she writes on her website.
At the moment, Kelsie is mostly working on developing her career as a full-time artist. "I am expanding the number of festivals and shows I’m attending, and looking into curating a singular online store for prints, originals, and other merchandise."
Kelsie's main focus as an artist is creating traditional paintings that she showcases and sells at art festivals. "The largest collection I have is called Endangered Everyday, a project I worked on for about a year-- every day I painted a new endangered species of wildlife and shared it online. Each painting is a 6x6 original which I made to highlight the biodiversity crisis our planet is facing." While the project is currently on a pause, the artist remains passionate about the cause and may return to it at a later time.
