Some dogs (especially Dobermans) are prone to a very real condition called "Happy Tail Syndrome" where they wag their tails so enthusiastically that they can injure themselves if their wagging tail hits something (a wall, furniture, etc.) This is the ONLY time docking a dog's tail is acceptable - if it is for a medical reason that will protect doggo from future injuries.

One of my mates has 3 Labradors and he once told me that if I ever want to remove remote controls, mobile phone, tablet or anything on top from the coffee table, I should get a Labrador, their strong tail is something else 😄

Whether the dogs are delivering an important message or simply making us smile, these canine characters have become cultural icons in their own right.

Beyond their entertainment value, dogs in commercials often tap into something deeper—our collective love for companionship, trust, and unconditional affection. Brands understand that a well-placed pup can create an instant emotional connection, making their message more memorable and relatable.

Heck yeah! When I have to travel to America (either Mexico, US and Canada) I tend to call my Wife and see how our 'boys' are doing (doggie and cat)...they go mental by just hearing my voice, then, when I'm back to the UK and arrive home, both of them, as soon they see me, they go berserk...I absolutely adore my 2 little, hairy guys! 😊

Shelter dog with soulful eyes in a Pedigree campaign, highlighting adoption and support for canine causes worldwide.

He may be small, but you should see his heart.

Shelter dogs aren't broken. They've simply experienced more life than other dogs. If they were human, we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write. The anes dealt a bad hand who responded with courage. Do not pity a shelter dog. Adopt one. And be proud to have their greatness by your side.

My Otto is adopted. He was very difficult initially, could only walk him at night. He was scared of so much, traffic cones, plastic bags blowing, people. It's taken a lot of patience, consistency and baby steps. I now have a lovely affectionate 11 year old.

My friends started a (non-profit) boxer rescue group in Washington, which is going strong! My family has always adopted dogs, and as my parents got older, they would adopt older dogs. Now senior pups are my favorite dogs. I get that you have less time with them, but this means you just have to make the most of the time you have with them.

The dog ran so fast (went from running 0 kph to 100 kph in 8 seconds) that its tongue got flapped in the wind and wrapped around its head! It's a joke (no dog's tongue is that long, lol) but it's implying that the dog has fun running so fast, so you too would have a lot of fun owning a Hyundai coupe that (presumably) also reaches 100 kph in 8 seconds.

Elderly couple and dog sitting by the ocean, part of a heartwarming canine campaign.

Having a family. Or not. Sometimes, it's just not your choice. And when you realise that, it opens a deep wound, one that's hard to understand and impossible to heal.

Every day I used to see the joy of having a family on the faces of others, and I asked myself: What did I do wrong? Is all that just for the lucky few?

And the days passed by, then the years, until we found each other. Suddenly, everything changed. That great big gaping hole in my life suddenly got filled with good memories.

They say blood is thicker than water. But I discovered that family is thicker than blood.

Dried seaweed isn't going to do much either. Dogs' teeth are shearing/crushing teeth, and they would "naturally" be cleaned when a dog (or any canine) eats whole prey - crushing bones, shearing through the prey's fur/pelt, etc. No "chews" or supplements or "water additives" are going to be able to replicate that. Raw meaty bones would, but they can be messy and hard to source. Much better to brush your dog's teeth regularly and have them get yearly dental checkups/cleanings at your vet.
