Crown Prince of Dubai Captures His City Above The Clouds, And It Will Take Your Breath Away
Dubai’s Crown Prince Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum (often known as Fazza) might be one of the richest men in the world, but this stunning footage he’s taken of the Dubai skyline rising through the clouds is absolutely priceless.
He recently shared his spectacular sunrise view with his 4.4 million followers, and the video has already been viewed almost 1 million times. It was taken from the top of one of the city’s many dizzying skyscrapers, and the world’s tallest building – the Burj Khalifa – can clearly be seen emerging from the mist like something from a sci-fi movie. The Crown Prince took the footage after mist and fog descended on the United Arab Emirates last week, which disrupted a number of flights. With views like this though, who cares.

The shot of him using his phone hints that he didn't film those himself. More likely that he hired someone to do it and went along.

Dubai has a human rights record that makes North Korea look like Disney world. On November 20 of this year, a British citizen reported to the Dubai police that she had been raped. She was arrested on the spot for adultery. She has been held in prison since then, with no contact to the outside world. If she is tried (there are diplomats trying to get her out), the trial will consist of an imam asking her rapists if she was willing. If they say she was, she will be executed before sundown the same day. They execute people there by beheading them with a sword. And no. It doesn't necessarily work the first time. This is a country where slavery, rape, and murder are legal - as long as women are involved.

Keep up sweetheart - she's already been released and gone home after video footage showed it was consensual and not rape. In Dubai it is illegal to drink alcohol if you don't have special licence. It is also illegal to be in a hotel room or share a bed with someone of the opposite sex who is not a spouse. Make sure your own country is squeaky clean before you criticise others.
