My friend and I both had swimming with Whale Sharks towards the top of our bucket lists so we found some spare time and took a 1,500 mile road trip down to Mulege, Mexico.
We started in Fallbrook, California and drove our 1991 Toyota Hiace which we converted into a livable van down to Mexico. 700 miles later we arrived in Mulege and paid $8 for a camping spot in Bahia Conception. The following morning we rented a small boat for a few hundred pesos and found ourselves the biggest fish in the sea. Here are some images I captured.
