Went to a restaurant after having my mom committed, which is very traumatic, in part because I had to give background on every horrible thing that ever happened to her. I just wanted to sit with some comfort food and escape into my book before I made the 2 hour drive home. The server apparently decided I needed company. In sister on standing there and trying engage me in conversation. Got mad when I finally very quietly and politely said that I really just needed to be alone. The frustration I felt is something I remember 15 years later. Really capped off an already horrible day.
