30 Times People Were Trying Too Hard To Look Cool With Their ‘Badass’ T-Shirts
Out of all types of cringe-worthy material, the "badass guy/girl" trope is one of the worst. Some people really feel the need to let the world know how much of a badass they are as they use guns/drugs/have tattoos/are anti-liberal or are just plain mean. However, such attempts at bad-assery are usually cringe-worthy rather than cool to all those around such people. Here, we made a list of all the laughable attempts at trying to appear cool and edgy. Prepare for some cringing, then scroll down below and leave a vote for those that made you laugh (or cringe).

"The dumbest thing you can possibly do is piss off my wife. She will open the gates of hell and escort your a** right on in. And she will do it with a smile on her face"
"Pastor. Because hardcore devil stomping ninja isn't an official job title"
"Hey snowflake, in the real world you don't get a participation trophy, not everybody is a winner, no one owes you anything, screaming doesn't make you right, sometimes you actually lose, crying doesn't solve problems, nothing is free in this world, people are going to say things that you don't like and you are not special!"
"As a September guy, I'm the kind of friend who will help you hide a dead body, but if you betray me just remember I know how to hide a dead body"
Don’t understand the September guy part, but I think it’s a funny shirt otherwise
"I came into this world kicking and screaming while covered in someone else's blood and I have no problem with going out the same way"
"I have been the kind of man that when my feet hit the floor each morning, the devil says 'oh crap, he's up!'"
"I may seem quiet and reserved but if you mess with me while I'm bowling, I will break out a level of crazy that will make your nightmares seem like a happy place"
"Beware: I ride horses, which means I own pitchforks, have the strength to haul hay and have the guts to scream at a half ton animal after being kicked. You will not be a problem"
"Too fat to run, too fat to fight, I JUST SHOOT"
"Oh, you ran a marathon? That's so cute! Maybe when you grow up your mommy will let you do the rest of the race!"
"Only God can decide if terrorists are right or wrong. It's our job to arrange the meeting"
"Do I look like someone who cares what God thinks?"
"I am an asshole man: I love freedom, drink beer and love my wife. I protect my family, I eat meat and have tattoos. If you don't like it - move"
"I didn't serve this country for pussies to tell me that I should be politically correct"
"I have three sides: the quiet side, the fun and crazy side, the side you never want to see"
"As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil , for I am the baddest motherf***er in the valley"
"Peace is not my profession - it's yours. War is my profession. Should you fail at your job, I will not fail at mine"
"I am 10 times the asshole you could ever hope to be. Now run along"
"There are a lot of people in the world to mess with, I'm the one you may wanna skip"
"Obama can't ban these guns"
"Forklift operator. My sense of humor may hurt your feelings or offend you. I suggest you buckle up, buttercup! I change for no one"
This is like an open declaration of being mentally stuck at 14 1/2 years of age. Cringeworthy, definitely cringeworthy.
"Never, and I mean never, mess with 4-H kids, because in 4-H we are a family... and if you mess with the family you better run"
Basically, you could replace the text to any of these with "I'm such an insecure tw*t, I need validation from a T-shirt"
Why do I have a gut instinct that the vast majority of these dudes has been to or planned to attend a Trump rally?
Wow, how insecure can people be in the US... I mean, it probably looked manly and cool 20 years ago. "Look at me, I'm strong and you're weak!". Pathetic...
The actual people I've known who, if they thought they had to, would simply light. your. a*s. up?! You'd never see them coming. And they don't wear t-shirts crowing about it.
Some of these are funny. You guys are just roasting the heck out of all of these people. Respect the right to wear whatever someone wants to wear as long as it's not hate speech. Most of these shirts aren't hate speech. One was saying that he was a pastor. Another said that his wife will get really mad if you p**s her off. Don't fight hate with hate. It never works
it's a shirt, the only people trying too hard to look badass are a majority of the commenters in this thread. Good thing it wasn't a hat.
These type of shirts are the dress code for white trash. No other respectable person wears this nonsense.
What's up with all this aggression? Ever heard of modesty, decency? Culture? Humanism?
I have the feeling that 95% of the guys on here voted for Trump, which just ups the cringe factor.
Why so serious? Some of them are stupid and offensive but some are really funny.
It's weird how much all of these people resemble each other and dress alike. I've never seen so many camo hats!
~30% of the USA really lives in a very limited black and white world full of dangers to their "freedom", brainwashed to the point of storming a pizza restaurant "to save the kids from paedophiles organized by HIllary Clinton". It's not just a mental issue anymore, it's not just a few crazy guys, there's a whole industry built around it. Making money with paranoid crazy idiots. They're doing the same as that post about "why do people get angry when I speak about the word of god" or something, make yourself ridiculous to normal people, get on their nerves then get offended when they get angry, then go back to your buddies and complain of how impolite the normals are, cult-tactics.
I bought a shirt once that said, "I like girls that like girls" being that I hung out with mostly lesbians after work at my former job. Wore it one day to a friend's house. Her sister was coming to pick her up for a holiday road trip. My first time meeting her, and I didn't know she was a lesbian until five minutes before her arrival. She loved the shirt and giggled when I informed her I didn't wear it on purpose, it was just the closet thing in my dresser drawer.
According to the US Flag Code "The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery. The flag should never be used for advertisements" (the Code is a meaningless list of "proper" ways to use and/or display it. There are no penalties for ignoring it)
The first ones were funny (no surprise, as they're the ones that got upvoted) but here's what I learned from the other 30: the vast majority of a******s loudly declaring their assholery prefer to do it on the BACK of their shirt. Perhaps so they don't have to look anybody in the face? Or risk the consequences of everyone knowing what sort of person you are BEFORE you leave the room?
The people wearing these shirts seem to want to live in a lawless dystopian nightmare world where they can attack, assault, shoot, and murder at the drop of a hat, without consequence. All the f*****g paranoid and insecure aggression... Half way though this thread, I was utterly fatigued looking at all the whiny jerkoffs with their shirt-messages of outward projection of deep personal issues. The clumsy aggression to hide their painful insecurities and paranoia of the world and the people around them... Holy fuckballs.
All of these, are t shirt made for 11 to 17 years old teenagers. Because thats the age when you are insecure with your identity
Dumbfucks like these douche waffles, are more damn common than we'd like to admit.
I see a lot of these at work. I also have a customer who always tells me liberal bashing jokes. Doesn't offend me but I also don't need to complain about it or chew him out. I just smile and go about my day. Personally, I feel that if you have to publically display these, you're a pretty fragile snowflake yourself.
i am convinced there is one manufacturer out there making a killing supplying "badass" tshirts to these dudes (who look suspiciously alike). also, they're assuming the people who find these funny/edgy can read.
I wanted to say that most of these guys are obviously primitive insecure retrogrades, but not even the uneducated unenlightened cave men would have wanted anything to do with them
Has anyone ever read one of these shirts in real life and not rolled their eyes? What is up with people proudly proclaiming that they are so childish that any disagreement will result in them having a violent outburst? Some people said they think some of the shirts are funny but to me they are that level of cringe when you watch an adult behave like an infant. Toddlers have a natural reaction of violence, adults should have a bit more control over themselves than their child does. Wear what you want if you think it is funny. I just don't see why a lack of self control and hysterical violent outburst are seen as macho or funny to begin with.
I like the one with the faux Confederate flag (yeah, that's not it). Notice this brave guy hides his face and obviously doesn't know history. you lost Bubba.
The amount of these long winded t shirts with super specific titles just screams "I bought this off a Facebook ad"
Their tops must be covering up the MASSIVE chip on their shoulder. Smh.
There was way too much beta in the comments. I had to give up. The POINT of these t-shirts are to butt hurt people like you. Guess it worked and was worth the investment.
It looks like many of them try to convince themselves of something... Ha the insecure little boys...
Walk round in Liverpool in one of those, and your in for a early hospital visit.
I`m Eastern European.....considering that i`m from a country where almost every issue is solved with violence i like most of those shirts
Sooooo this post could also be titled "t-shirt fashion as modeled by insecure white men" SMDH
What strikes me as odd, is the fact that A) most of the guys wearing these shirts are obese (or to skinny to pose a worthwhile threat), and B) aren't brave enough to show these offensive texts while looking you in the eye
So many of these shirts are a whole paragraph long. Why not just abbreviate it and say "I have a tiny penis"?
Fully formed adults that feel the need to aggressively announce who they are with a t-shirt were most likely teenagers who did things for the sole purpose of drawing attention, then yelled at people for looking.
I think I pulled a muscle around my eye sockets from all eye rolling I did 😵 sheesh....calm down folks!
Lol all the shirts were just black+"badass" font+ skull and/or wolf. So predictable haha
Beware the owners of those t-shirts, you can boring to death with them ...
