My name is Callum Donovan-Grujicich and I am a 15-year-old sculpture artist from Whitby, Ontario, Canada. At the age of ten, I began to experiment with making small sculptures. I made my own paper clay, sculpted the bodies of the sculptures, and sewed their clothes by hand. As I improved my technique, I began to add other materials to my sculptures, such as wool and found objects.
Later, I became more interested in the sculpting aspect of my artwork, and I moved away from using fabric in my work. I began to experiment with larger work and anatomical realism.

Is this the artist? Sensitive hands, Bohemian yet dashing. Slightly removed. Fabulous.
Cat's cradle? Again, familiar facial expression. I've known this person.
That expression, combined with the bonds. Those eyes and mouth are so real. :(
A 15yr old with this much talent! By the time they are up for sale, I will never be able to afford one. Wishing you huge sueccess
A Persian lamb capelet! A quail egg. An embroidered sweater? The parts alone are awesome, and add up to much more.
The subtle differences in their features, combined with their body language, express so much about them.
This looks like my beloved uncle, gone now, but when he was young with shining eyes and dimples. Even the ashtray is accurate.
I was reluctant, cos dolls kinda creep me out, but I clicked and they're all brilliant. While each is unique, they are all clearly by one artist. To have a style that is recognisable and varied for an artist is really important. To achieve that at 15 is very impressive. I'd love to see more in the future.
These sculptures are absolutely fabulous. Thank you for sharing photos of them.
A wonderful, unique talent -- your sculpted figures are offbeat, appealing and lovable. You have a great future in art.
this stuff is amazing, i hope you're considering selling some of it somewhere! it's not a style that will appeal to everyone, for sure, but you've got a really unique eye and ability here, i hope you continue making stuff!
I'm 14 and there is no way I could have created such stunning pieces. I hope you continue and keep up the great work, Callum!
I am blown askew. They show such pathos and seem almost alive. These are already the work of an accomplished artist. I would be proud to own many of them. Watch for more in the future.
Callum, you are a great artist. Just curious... Did you intend them to be creepy?
I didn't find them creepy but I find most of them sad so I'm wondering if this is a reflection of the artist. I hope not because there is much talent here.
Load More Replies...Beautiful, expressive, detailed, exquisitely crafted and oddly unsettling. I sincerely hope that Callum Donovan-Grujicich continues creating. To be such a talented artist, who deserves major recognition already at 15y.o....wow. I'd love to see what he is creating in another 5 years, 10 years, & so on. All his current work brought together in a one-man exhibition show would be quite a sight to see!
Very awesome! Would love to see them put into a claymation/animation movie! Reminds me of "MirrorMask"!
If you haven't watched it yet, just to give you an idea on your next project maybe is a movie called 9. It's about these doll things that come to life, it may sound boring coming from me but I suggest just giving it a look 😋
They are cool and it's amazing how much detail you put into your pieces. Although, no offense, I found them a bit scary and sad.
I wouldn't be able to sleep if any of these were in my room! Very thought provoking. I appreciate your passion and talent
You are so talented! All of these pieces have so much feeling. My personal opinion, however, is try new things! Step outside your comfort zone! Do something totally different! It will really benefit you in the long run if you know how to sculpt things other than these (amazing) little pale dolls. Also, if you're looking for ideas, do a princess! I would love to see that.
Start developing a professional-looking portfolio that you can submit to art schools. You definitely have the talent.
These are amazing! The only suggestion I have would to put something next to each one to show tall it is. Not necessarily a ruler, but something that provides a frame of reference. From the picture of the sculpture in your hand, I'm guessing 7 to 8 inches tall.
