Amazon Is Selling Dog Muzzles That Look Like Human Faces And They’re Too Bizarre

The marketplace that is Amazon has many wondrous items from life-sized inflatable speedboats to ‘guesthouse kits,’ but spend enough time scrolling through you’ll also find some pretty bizarre offers. Seeing a dog in a muzzle can be pretty scary and startling – but the Pet Entertainment Spoofs muzzles from the novelty store AXAYINC are so odd they are hilarious.

Made from latex, the mask muzzles are designed to look like the bottom half of a human face with exaggerated features. Pouty red lips, giant buck teeth, or a mouth chomping down on a cigar, these entertaining muzzles are sure to turn some heads.

Novelty store AXAYINC has a series of human face spoof muzzles on Amazon and they are absolutely ridiculous

Both mouth and the nose of the mouth are open, according to the brand, as to not hinder breathing

Yeah, there's a great absence of ventilation holes. How else would they keep themselves cool when they also need to pant on a hot-day when they're out and about?

"Not meant for small dogs"... well then why are a lot of the pictures of pugs & frenchies wearing them??? Stupid humans - this is pretty much torture in my opinion.

I can't believe they are promoting this on Bored Panda. It's dangerous and cruel. Dogs need to pant to sweat. Two tiny nose holes isn't enough for them to breath. Have you ever worn one of these rubber Halloween masks? They are hot and sweaty and horrible. This is animal cruelty and should be removed from this website. Don't help these awful people make more sales.

Ikr.. idk it looks gross at the same time. The facial feature on mask look disproportionate, I hope dogs won't be made fun of bc of this. Dogs are joyful and beautiful just as everything is, humans shouldn't clown around with these kind of things.

These types of masks are hot and sweaty on us humans. Ever tried to wear one on Halloween? The manufacturer says they are "open" with holes in the noses and mouths, but just imagine how hot and potentially dangerous these would be on a dog! This mask is only good to be worn for less than 30 seconds while taking a funny photo or two of your tortured doggo. Otherwise, these are absolutely dangerous.

I propose to buy some of them and put on the faces of owners - let's see how long they will survive without air during a hot day.

Shame on any dog owner who chooses to humiliate their defenseless friend - all for a laugh! An appauling lack of respect for a creature who generally thinks the world of its owner! It is an utter disgrace!

Terrifying. What is society thinking about? if anyone puts this on their dog they ought to be arrested for cruelty to animals. Animals are not subject to be made into a talking point, this would be the same or worse than putting jewellery on your dog dying their fur or dressing them in outfits, an animal is not an accessory for people to mess about with, we should remember that, as they are becoming objectified.

Animal cruelty and should be banned! Whoever designed these is sadist! Whoever sells these is an accomplice to animal cruelty including the dogs' owners! Lock them up and make them wear the masks 24/7 for the time they are in jail!

NNNooo. Guy who compared it to Invasion of the Body Snatchers? that was my first thought, and that freaked me out back in the 80s. I can take dolls and clowns, but this, no. And yeah, all the arguments about snub nosed dogs not being able to breathe properly also stands. Just destroy those hideous things forever

Dog's nose should never be covered. A proper muzzle is meant to restrain a dog to open its mouth enough to put anything in it, but is made in a way to bring minimal discomfort to an animal.

Stick your own head in any rubber mask, like a fun ogre mask for halloween and measure how long you can stand brething the stench and humidity collecting inside , constricting your face in The worst facepalm ever. This is when you do it voluntarily. Glue an ogre mask to the faces of people doing this to their dogs.
