Not every idea that seems absolutely genius at 2AM is equally brilliant when it comes to life. The truth is, most of our "eureka!" moments turn out to be pretty crappy designs and yet nobody takes a lesson from it. Check out our previous compilations, aka homage to "what de heck they were thinkin'," with designs gone wrong here, here, and here.

But the coronavirus has brought a new source of inspiration, a fresh gust of wind, and some food for thought for all the great minds out there. In turn, they paved the way for the second wave of crappy designs. And this time, as you can guess, it’s all things corona. From nonsensical posters showing people holding hands to fight the pandemic, to very questionable virus infographics, these designs do little good. So get your popcorn ready and tune in for Bored Panda’s crappy design compilation: the corona edition.

Crappy corona designs that may spread misinformation and cause false impressions about the virus are not the only thing to worry about. In fact, many Americans are also worried about how crappily their government is dealing with reopening after the lockdown. USA Today reports that according to this survey, almost 3 in 4 Americans, which makes up 71%, said they’re concerned about lifting social distancing restrictions too quickly.

Robert Griffin, the research director for the Democracy Fund Voter Study Group, believes that such data suggests that Americans are likely not to engage in leisure activities even if they reopen right now. “You can reopen a lot of things, the bars and restaurants can come back, you can try to reopen schools and send kids back to them, you can try to have larger events occurring ... for more than 10 people, but this really doesn't mean that people are going to necessarily engage in them," he said.

Meanwhile, Bankrate's Opening the Economy survey, done on May 5-6, showed that Americans aren't comfortable visiting businesses right away. To the questions “If businesses opened in your area on or before Memorial Day with added safety measures, how long do you think it will be before you are comfortable visiting them?”, only 22% said “within one week,” 19% said “one month to less than three months,” and 13% said they’ll wait until the vaccine.

The University of Washington’s Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IMHE) is now estimating that the US will reach 135,000 deaths by August 1 due to several states easing their lockdowns. It has almost doubled since the last prediction with an estimate of 60,308 deaths.

The problem is that the bottle looks just like normal vape liquid bottle, so some sloppy customer can pour ethanol to his vape instead of liquid.

I tend to cough and sneeze into my elbows. You can cover your mouth and nose quite effectively if you use both elbows! Sometimes I still forget and use my hand instead (as I was originally taught to do) but feel really uncomfortable until I can wash it. Feels so contaminated...
