People Still Can’t Stop Posting Corona Jokes And Here Are 50 Of The Freshest Ones To Make You Laugh And Relax
It’s been seven years—sorry, seven months—since we compiled Bored Panda’s very first list of coronavirus jokes. At that time, it all seemed slightly surreal. The first COVID jokes and puns reflected reality and aimed at educating people. Soon, though, with the viral threat snowballing into one of the greatest public disasters of modern history, the absurdity level skyrocketed.
A new kind of comedy was born. COVID humor turned out to be as savage as the virus itself, and no meme, pun, or one-liner was out of the question. Throwing COVID jokes around became a new kind of weapon against the collective trauma and misery we live in.
And since we've rolled into the second wave of this viral turmoil and everyone is getting a little philosophical and sentimental, the COVID jokes are on fire just like they were the first day. Just better. They matured like a collectible wine, which will get us all the way through 2020. So, roll up your sleeves for this very gourmet compilation of the freshest COVID-19 humor. For dessert, check out more corona jokes here, here, here, and here.

Covid-19 Update
Protect Yourself, Protect Others!
Not just Londoners but all British towns and cities. If the lights were seen from the air they made easy targets for the Luftwaffe. Even rural villages did it. Everywhere had men called Air patrol men who would sound a siren to warn people to black out their windows and stay in and the siren would sound again when it was safe. There were high penalties if you didn't comply.
The US also had blackout rules—-though after Pearl Harbor we weren’t attacked or invaded, there were German subs off the East Coast and the Japanese attempted to invade through Alaska. Blackout rules included things like using blackout drapes and dimming or turning off headlights on specified stretches of road. After Pearl Harbor we (anyone old enough), or our parents, or our grandparents collectively understood that, even though it was inconvenient and uncomfortable, it was for the greater good. They abided by those rules to protect not only themselves but everyone else too. So why can’t we? We’re not that many generations past those who were alive from 1941-1945, so how did we—-or at least enough of us to be a major embarrassment to the rest—-manage to evolve into such selfish, gullible, callous, narcissistic, and downright nasty ignoramuses so damn quickly?
Load More Replies...People also had to be carful about smoking cigarettes outside during the Blitz.
Load More Replies...I grew up hearing stories from my mum about blackout curtains, lack of coal for heating and most importantly, lack of chocolate due to the fact chocolate was going to our soldiers and sailors. She did have the fond memory of eating a whole box of chocolate Ex-lax one Easter, in response and I think, in protest, to that rationing. She was three. Good times were had by all.
Why are people arguing with the chance of dying? Shouldn't we try to avoid getting sick in the first place? It's a virus, we don't know what it can become if it continues to spread. And there is still a possibility of dying, isn't it, what makes you think you're will be lucky every time?
In WW2, there would be black outs in New York City to hide when a ship was leaving the Brooklyn shipyard. "Chocolate Blackout Cake was developed in Brooklyn, New York during World War II, named after the blackout drills performed by the Civilian Defense Corps. A Blackout was performed so Ships when sailing off to battle could not be spotted by enemy planes. City lights were turned off and windows were covered with black material. They had drills like fire drills to practice for the real thing."
You can't argue, "It's my life., my freedom, or it's a personal choice" if you are dead.
Note what IlovemydogShilo said -- "There were high penalties if you didn't comply." It's not that "No Londoner said, 'It's my right to have lights on". It's that, if they DID say that, they got arrested.
No arguments needed. Very nice comparison. Its only a mask. A little cloth upon our face that helps us to avoid restrictions that are worse. Stay healthy and best wishes from Germany.
The bombing of London was not a scam. The Covid 19 scare is the biggest scam ever run on any citizenry since P.T. Barnum. Do you actually read anything about this scam, or do you just mindlessly follow everything CNN and the lying media tell you to follow?
In WW2, Londoners were asked to black out their homes at night so the enemy bombers wouldn't see the masks & know where to target. No Londoner said, "It's my right to have masks on." Cuz others would say, "your mask on endangers us."
@ Jasmina Pavlovic, counting from February until now, October 17, 2020, around 225.000 Americans have died of COVID-19. All US fatalities during WW2 were a little over 400.000.
Correct me if I’m wrong or miss any details! Here we go! the French, during one of the World Wars (I forget which one) invented the bathrobe. They had to keep running out of their houses due to air raid sirens, and wanted to look fashionable doing it. So they invented the bathrobe. Kind of a weird story, but...
Too many details. Yes, you are dead wrong. Laugh out loud-wrong, even. If you remember where you read that, then you know one source to avoid.
Load More Replies...Actually they did. That's where there were light wardens. People will always be entitled and dumb
Maybe you will not even have any symptoms, maybe you'll never understand where your best friend's gran got it from. She was old anyway, so who cares, right? Your best friend cares! Put the mask on and wash your hands!
Load More Replies...It’s not only you who noticed that corona jokes have become darker than they used to be at the start of the year. The fact that the pandemic has gotten way worse and it’s nowhere near the end has surely escalated the darker sense of humor.
In a recent interview with comedy writer Ariane Sherine, we talked about the effect the pandemic has had on our lives. The woman from London, United Kingdom told us that she, like many others, tries to limit the flow of corona-related news daily to limit the psychological pressure.
"I get my news in bite-sized chunks from Twitter. I read the news articles they recommend, but I never watch the television news as I find that a lot more emotive and distressing than written news," she said.

“It’s Easy, Losers”
On the other hand, the sense of community we all share these days is stronger than ever before. “On the upside, there’s also a shared sense of camaraderie and getting through tough times together,” Ariane commented.
This sense of community is also key to corona humor, which has become a universal subgenre transgressing all social media platforms, cultures, and backgrounds. Memes, puns, and one-liners hit us hard in a similar way that the virus does. It’s not selective and speaks to everyone.
In every absurd corona joke, there’s a sense of empathy in the things we are all going through. And since the grounds of optimism seem to be depleting daily, there’s only one thing we can do. Sit back, relax, and poke fun at the world which hasn’t been so nice to us lately.

It was a rubbish bin within the quarantine hotel no less - not out in public. They've changed the policy so the bins don't have lids and are no contact style. Gotta say I know some here are a bit tired of it all, but I'm proud of my country. The above mentioned outbreak was so small and caught and traced so quick that by the time it was in the news it was over. We just gotta hang in there - covid won't go away because we are tired of it

Hi guys I feel the need to repeat this comment, this does not apply to people with serious medical issues (who aren't able to wear masks) but rather to Karens who feel like they "don't need to because it's their right not to" I am 13 (with minor autism as well as adhd) I also have siblings younger than me (7 and 9) both of them go to school in person with me both are severely autistic, if they can wear a mask for 6+ hours you can. If you have a serious medical condition stay home but if you just an a**hole please think about your choices, because you are literally killing people. My grandmother died from covid and she most likely got it from the one time she went out to get groceries and a no mask Karen (during the seniors time at the supermarket) coughed on her. She got tested the day after and she had it. So please think about your choices and stop being an a**hole. Have a good day and thanks

Had to go to hospital yesterday, the amount of people not wearing masks was alot. Not just patients, but hospital staff as well.
Because the US needs to get its s**t together, like 4 years ago.
