Earlier this year, Italy-based digital artist Simone “Simz” Ferriero flew all the way to Canada to meet his long-distance girlfriend for the first time. To our delight, he illustrated every moment of it, too. This time, Simone’s girlfriend was the one who was doing the traveling. And once again, the artist has documented the joyous occasion.
Comparing the two “dates,” Simone told Bored Panda that “the difference for me, and it shows pretty well in the diary, was that I was not so surprised by the things around me since this was my country. I focused more on the time we spent together.”
“I think she was surprised by how much we’re behind here in Italy (specifically, the transportation system, old buildings, fewer food choices etc).”
“I am planning to find a way to get a sponsorship from an air company, so I could travel more and make more diaries! This would be so much fun!”
And you couldn’t think of a person better suited for this kind job. “I’ve loved drawing since I was a kid,” Ferriero said. “I have developed my passion throughout the years and when I was in my twenties I decided to study at the academy of fine arts. After graduation, I hopped around doing a few jobs here and there for a few of startup companies as a graphic designer for a while, but then I decided to embrace the path of a full-time freelancer.” Scroll down to experience their precious moments!

I remember this art! Didn't they meet for the first time and he drew about a couple of months ago! Ahhh!! I so happy they are still together!!
