Coronavirus has affected the whole world. People are anxious, and the streets are empty. Well, almost empty. When it comes to the streets, you can only expect one group to roam and stay loyal to them, and they are the street artists. The explanation’s quite simple: even in more peaceful times, these rogues are no strangers to risks, such as the law, and now it’s no different. Also, they wore facemasks before it was “cool.” In times where all the galleries and museums are closed, the streets have become the canvas for public imagination. Let’s take a look at how street artists around the world have interpreted the situation.

Well, it's the road sign for Old People Crossing here in the UK, but someone's put the masks on the, which is fine, but I don't get the jet ski, unless the artist just thought that the position of the figures made it look like they were riding a jet ski. *shrug*

Road warning signs in the UK look like this. Usually you'd have the silhouette of something like a wild animal or children on the sign to warn drivers of upcoming hazards. I believe that '2 people wearing ppe masks on a jetski' (not it's real name ;) ) signifys that there are people at the beach when they should be at home isolating? That's how I read it anyway.

After I have seen what happens in the hospitals, I say we must not look away. What we see are the bare facts. The media is surprisingly mature about this. I doubt this doctor on the grafitti sees anything shocking unless it's a message about the hospital not getting any more supplies.

March 27 - Boris Johnson tests positive for coronavirus and self isolates. April 6 - he is taken into intensive care and spends two nights there. April 9 - still in the hospital.
