To answer your question: yes vegans breastfeed. There are many reasons to go vegan, and a lot of people who choose to live plant based have looked at scientific facts that prove that we are herbivores. Since we are mammals, breastfeeding is in our nature. However consuming milk from other species like cows, goats, sheep, dogs, camels, cats and bears obviously isn't.

What a ridiculous comment to make - a mother's milk is for her child - vegans have no problem with this - the problem is tearing a calf away from its mother and forcing the cow to produce milk for humans when it is intended for her own baby. Educate yourself before making stupid comments!!

Veganism is abstaining from all animal products. The question or notion, that humans are decendents of animals is a rather philosophical one in this context and doesn't really matter here. Vegans don't drink milk from animals (it's not about the "milk from living things" at all, breastfeeding is totally fine.

For the record: a vegan or plantbased diet has nothing to do whatsover with vaccinations. I am a vegan myself and wish to dissociate myself in the strongest way possible from the absolutely irresponsible and unscientific arguments used by the anti-vaccination movement. You might argue that it is "not vegan" to use a vaccin as it might be tested on animals, but this is the law for all medicins before they are used on humans (at least in Europe), so at this moment it is just not possible in certain cases to use products which are free from animal cruelty.

2 years ago, my son and I moved into a 33 ft fifth wheel RV. We don't travel. We are set up in a nice RV Resort in Colorado. It took some adjustment to start "living small" but we love it. Less work, less "stuff" and life is much simpler. We don't have much money, but our housing and utility costs went down by about 1/3 from what we were paying, living in a traditional house.

My guy & I just bought an RV! We previously rented one. He’s retired NYPD, I’m between jobs. But many campgrounds offer discounts if you’re willing to work, so I’ll be doing that. We are not the healthiest specimens due to 9/11, so planning ahead is necessary. But it is doable. Plus, not having kids helps.
