The moment when I realized what was wrong was watching that show "13 Reasons Why", one of the characters stated about sui.cide: "it's not that life isn't worth living, it's that there isn't enough good to outweigh the bad". That was the moment I realized why I wasn't getting better no matter how much therapy I had, talking about it doesn't change the fact it happened and there's been nothing positive to balance out the pain. I don't know if psychologists fully appreciate that about their patients, some of us are desperately trying, but there is no getting better because life isn't really that awesome. Sorry to be such a bummer to all reading this.

For me it's the idea of eternity. We're all living with the notion that nothing in life is permanent, as in, "just a bad moment to go through". Boring lectures have an end (even when it seems they don't), the end of a shift, of a journey, of a day, etc. We can always expect an end, a change. Not with eternity. I can't wrap my head around that concept. It was even a plot point in the tv show "The Good Place", how even heaven becomes boring or tedious when you know it'll last forever.
