The caption mentions A horrible decision. I see at least TWO. (Three if you consider the terrible hair dye job -> look at the ear). Or do they approve of her new boyfriend Dalton, so that his name doesn't count?

From the context, my guess is that TL means Team Leader. I don't know what SD means, and HR is definitely Human Resources. But you're correct, folks need to remember that Bored Panda is an international site and that jargon and acronyms are nation, language, and industry specific.

The likeliest reason that employees weren't able to use the donation as a tax write-off is that, as fairly low-wage employees, their total charitable donations probably don't exceed the standard deduction in their income bracket, so it makes no sense for them to itemize deductions on their return. They simply take the standard deduction instead.

Not someone I was dating, but I knew a young woman in college who would climb to the top of our football stadium (approximately 200 feet high) to lay out to tan. When I asked her why she did that her, very serious, response was: "Because it's closer to the sun."

It was a clear sunny day and we were lying at the beach trying to get a tan. The UV level was not too high so after an hour she decided that, in order to speed up our tan, we HAD to move way further down the beach to get closer to the sun as that was the direction the sun was in.

We have this and it's great. It keeps the cup from dripping by not having to put it back on the bottle. It also allows measuring the detergent with one hand. For those who are saying what about the pods, if you like those that's fine, but the plastic doesn't always dissolve completely and the residue can clog up your machine. One added tip: The detergent cup can be cleaned just by dropping it in with a load of laundry. I recommend a small load, on delicate, in cold water to keep the cup from being battered around.

This one started out great, but it fell off badly; especially after Taraji P. Henson's character was killed off. The show muddled around for focus and was kind of a mess by the end. It needed to go.

When I was a kid, I'd walk to school. When it was cold, I'd come home and my mom would ask "why are you wheezing?" I'd shrug because I thought it was just what happened to people when it was cold.

Found out several years later that I had exercise induced asthma, and cold weather was my main trigger.
