Hey Pandas, What Was Your Scariest Travel Experience?
Not my story, but my brother's... I have three younger siblings (one sister and two brothers). My whole family went on our annual trip to South Dakota. We decided to hike up Mt. Coolidge. The hike is about a mile and a half up a twisty gravel road, so sight is limited. Since we all walk at different speeds, we all got somewhat separated from each other. I was way ahead of everyone. At some point, my brother (F) looked back to see how far behind the other four people were. F only saw my dad and other brothers (D) walking together. F continued up the mountain. Eventually, I and my two brothers met at the top of the mountain. F asked D where our dad was. D had absolutely no idea what F was talking about. D said our dad was at least a 1/4 to a 1/2 a mile behind us the whole time. Our dad eventually made it up the hill and confirmed that he had never walked with D. To this day, F insists he saw a ghost walking beside D. Creeps me out because we were in the middle of the Black Hills in the middle of nowhere.

Hey Pandas, What’s Something That’s On Your Mind?
I'm super worried, stressed, concerned, and scared. I could use any advice... I've been dating my boyfriend for almost 10 months. We are both each other's best friend. We do everything together. We've both said I love you. We've both discussed a future together. We are both attending college this fall. However, our colleges are six hours apart. I'm moving out of state and into a completely different time zone. We've talked about doing a long distance relationship. We are going to talk about all of the rules, expectations, and boundaries this weekend. I'm just super worried, stressed, concerned, and scared. I've literally cried almost every night this summer thinking about having to leaving him. I just don't want to lose him. I know there are going to be so many girls who are prettier, smarter, and funnier than me at his college. Thinking about everything just breaks my heart. I'd appreciate any advice :)
Hey Pandas, How Has A Small Decision Or Action Changed Your Life In A Big Way?
So kind of a long story... A couple of years ago a random guy added me on Snapchat. He was a stranger, but I knew he was from one of the local high schools so I decided to add him back. I never add strangers due to safety reasons, but for some reason I decided to give him a chance. I had never seen, met, or spoken to this guy. For two years we didn't snap or chat. One day I was clearing out my contacts in Snapchat. I was clearing the people who I didn't talk with. I eventually came across his contact and was just about to unfriend him when something inside of me told me not to. A couple of weeks later he randomly snaps me and asks me to be his date the fall homecoming football game and dance. Remember, I had still never talked or seen this guy. We had an amazing first blind date at the football game and homecoming dance. We started talking and hanging out more. A month later we started dating. Now we have been dating for 10 months and are going to start a long distance relationship this fall when we both move to different colleges. We are planning a future together. If I had never taken a chance and added him as a stranger on Snapchat or if I had decided to clear his contact, I wouldn't have him as my best friend and boyfriend.

I was only days past a dramatic breakup with a boyfriend of 3 years. While working as a cashier in a very busy store, a random, goofy-looking guy asked me out when I was ringing up his items. I said yes so as not to appear rude but I mentally decided to give a fake number. I accidently wrote my real number. We have been together 17 years, have two beautiful kids, and have a happy life together.
Hey Pandas, Do You Have Fear Of Something?
My biggest fear is dying when I know I am going to die, but there is absolutely nothing I can do about it (drowning, suffocating, excessive bleeding, burning, starving, etc.)Show All 13 Upvotes
