I knew you were going to propose. You left an email up on the computer where you sent a ring to a friend asking her if I will like it. I immediately close the email and went on about my day. We went on the 2 week long trip to Hawaii. One of the days you told me to dress up and I wore this cute white summer dress. I still remember the way you looked at me. You looked at peace. We drove up the coast to the beach your friend recommended. As soon as we pull in it dawns on you that this isn’t a private beach. It’s pure madness. People everywhere. I saw the look of panic on your face. I squeezed your arm and said let’s keep driving. We grabbed dinner at a mom and pop place and found the most beautiful secluded beach after. That’s where you proposed and it was perfect.
Hey Pandas, What's Something That Seems Normal But Isn't?
People taking their kids to places not meant for kids like late night R-rated movies, bars, expensive restaurants that don't even have a kid's menu (which should be a huge hint), and breweries....then get all offended when people do adult-things like swear or light up a cigarette (in places that allow it in designated areas). IDGAF if babysitters are too expensive, that's no excuse to mess up everybody else's good time because you're an inconsiderate cheapskate.

My best friend loved Narnia and promised she would show me the Prince Caspian movie. It was slow working out, but she kept saying "Let's do it! It'd be so much fun!" Shortly after she started dating my older brother, they watched Prince Caspian together. He told me about it when he got home...he couldn't even remember the plot. I was furious, but I told him, "Oh haha! Cool! It's one of her favorites!" Watching Prince Caspian on my own a few weeks later was one of the first steps I took to growing up and being myself without her. It's a great movie, btw.Show All 31 Upvotes
