There is a perception filter most people exist with that blends all their cones and rods together so they see solid and sharp world, but some people (especially if they have taken specific hallucinogenics) can actually pay attention to their eye's cones and rods and it creates the "static" effect.

It helps at any time in your life to get diagnosed, but medication isn't nessisary unless you are trying to change some aspect about yourself.

Severe nutrient deficiency can have many causes, but the easiest solution is to eat a large variety of foods, and try new ones as often as possible. When you find ones you crave, give into healty amounts of those cravings.

Had 6 mo off 1-2 mo on for 10 years before they started getting closer, and by 40 they were less than 2 weeks off 2 weeks on with a hormone IUD. Early on it was massive blood loss and random sharp pain, and later on in life it turned to cramps with severe soreness and fibrosis pain. PCOS treats everyone different over time.

I know people say she is a sweet person, and she seems to do alright with acting... but the way her acting is faked, she reminds me of the girls in high school that are pretending to be nice to your face, and then secretly telling the most horrible lies behind your back.

After a few years of study, we found out why the Prius, and other hybrid cars are so popular for contract drivers for all the delivery and transportation services. It's because they are based on science, and physics, and really good engineering (not perfect but getting better). Sadly, yes, but less through email. Facebook is plagued by them. I can go there right now and find at least two people who want to be "friends" who instantly offer money and at out of a hundred at least one of those will be the Nigerian scam in another form.

Went to a chiropractor first time for severe lower back pain in early 20's. He popped everything and only charged a small fee, but nothing he did touched my back pain and he had zero answers as to why. Realized he wasn't actually trained in medicine when a real doctor diagnosed it as kidney failure from undiagnosed type 2 diabetes. Don't stop searching for scientifally proven stuff no matter how you "feel".

This is what people don't realise. Predators seek out vulnerable prey. They are after people with learning difficulties, dementia, mental health problems, brain injuries, and those that are vulnerable due to loneliness or grief. When people say 'if you fall for it you deserve to be scammed' they are imagining someone like themselves.

I have extremely good spacial awareness including the ability to assemble things in my head, but I cannot see them. So I don't think your fried Steve's ability is in any way the opposite of aphantasia. Just because I can't "see" a picture of something doesn't mean that I don't know what it looks like.

Grew up with PCOS. I thought everyone had periods once every 2 or 3 months which would completely flatten them. I'm talking 10-12 days of pain so bad you can't get out of bed.

It was a formal meeting and she was a gopher. I think she did the best she could under the circumstances, especially given she wanted (and perhaps NEEDED) to keep her job (it coulda been a requirement to graduate). She likely was around 18, working her first job, and nervous having to enter that room at all. Everyone else in this article gets slack, and I’m gonna give it to her, too.
