Also, we don't mind having a bit of a relief small chat at the end. I mean, we can't spend heaps of time talking about things. The end of the survey is also the time survey interviews can have more of liberties of discussing the topic at hand. We just have to remain as neutral and unbiased as possible before and during the whole interview. Nothing you say will make us challenge your opinions. I heard it all. You won't shock us. You could say the most prejudice, racist, discriminatory things and we won't tell you if we think your right or wrong. All we're paid to do is take calls, read the scripted surveys and record your answers. Now, what we're thinking in our heads is another story.

I worked for a research company that sounds a bit like dip sauce. For the questions asking for detailed explanations, just keep them short and to the point. Yes, the interviewer will type down everything you said, but after the survey is done and the interviewer moves onto the next call coming in, any information entered is immediately encoded in the secure server and meshed together with everyone else's answers. The detailed answers are separated and sent to coders that have lists relating to the questions, and decide where the key points of your detailed explanations should fit into those point-formed lists. (I hope that makes sense.). And, also, giving extra information, trying to justify your reasons for your ratings, just ask if there is an open end question or wait until the end of the survey. Sure, we have to politely end the call and move on to the next to keep our dial rates up, but we can add more feedback. We call it "end-of-survey comments" & we do pass them along.

The rewards program apparently isn't available in Canada, despite them always asking for your email for the rewards program. I asked how many points I have. The clerk said "Oh, it's not available in Canada, yet. But soon." It's been a year and now I'm being told it's not coming to Canada. But they'll still ask you for an email. Very sus.

I saw something about this. They used a blunt stud, basically the earring, to pierce the ears. It hurts so bad. I had mine done twice in my life because the first time they got infected and the pain didn't let up. I remember my mom taking them out and there was so much blood in the sink. The other time the gun got stuck halfway. The piercer had to finish it. I think she felt bad but at the same time she was trying to downplay how much pain I was in. They both had to come out, anyways, and I just let the holes close up. Never done it again. Go to a place that specializes in piercing. They use a sharp, tapered needle, followed by the earring.

For people saying spay or neuter, I had a cat neutered and he still was able to spray and get horny. Apparently getting fixed isn't always 100% effective if extra ovarian tissue is still present in a female cat's abdomen. Medications with hormones, like creams, that cats can ingest if licked can have an effect in an increase of estrogen and progestogen. And sometimes it's just a behavioural thing that's misinterpreted as sexual.

Oooh, I'm bad for the staring. When I see a guy who's scoping me out, it's like I'm a deer caught in headlights. I don't know how to act, how to stand, where to put my drink, if I should eat or not. Okay, but why put down a blind or deaf animal? I do agree that when your pets are suffering too much it's time to humanely put them down. My friend had to do that with her cat when she started getting seizures and eating less. It's super sad but it's for the best. The way my mom put it when she put her horse down "He's lived a really good life. He doesn't deserve a torturous end."

I witnessed this about 10 or more years ago. This girl was at a fast food restaurant, ordering. She casually, without any hesitation, asks the boy cashier his full name and if he's on facebook, quickly looks him up and shows him the screen asking if that's him. He's obviously feeling uncomfortable, and sort of laughs. She says she "friended" him. He didn't seem all that excited about it, more creeped out. I thought maybe she knew him from school, so I asked him if she knew her. He didn't. We both agreed it was creepy. On the contrary, a guy went up to my daughter, saying she's pretty and asked for her socials. My daughter just sd she's not on any. Didn't introduce himself, or anything. Then walked off to his group. We're thinking he went up to her for malicious purposes or on a dare. Again, creepy and lacking social etiquette.
