Woman Turns Violent After Forced Babysitting Scheme Backfires, Police Intervention Looms

It seems kind of suspicious. How did the sister in law know she was home? It's not like she called first to check, and the woman is generally at work. It seems unlikely someone would drive all the way to someone else's house to drop their child off without at least calling to make sure you're there. Also, why wouldn't the woman just put him in the car and drive him back home? I know that's ridiculous but if someone literally left their kid, and I knew where they lived, I'd bring him back. Or I'd bring him to the mil's house and drop him since that seemed to be okay with her.

Bipolar 2 disorder, which he has, is known to cause paranoia and lack of inhibition. Is a standard behavior that happens when people aren't taking their meds or if their meds are not working. He's definitely a jerk and thinks incredibly highly of himself--his ego is nuts-- but a lot of his behavior is more easily explained by his illness.

Um, getting blood everywhere on your period isn't because you're unhygienic. It happens to a lot of women because they have very heavy periods and sometimes there's no pad or tampon that can contain it. It's a nightmare and embarrassing. You continue to bleed even in the shower, when you sleep, when you're at school, etc. And you can't always go to the bathroom. I remember in school my teacher wouldn't allow us to go to the bathroom more than once per class, so one time I got up and there was blood on the seat and it freaked him out. I had to walk home with blood showing on my pants because of that and I had to clean the chair as I could feel myself dripping down my pants. If you're at work, you can't get up and change a tampon every 20 minutes. It's really hard to deal with but the alternatives are birth control, which can sometimes help lighten it but there are a host of side effects. Or hysterectomy. Marylin had heavy periods due to endometriosis.

We heard him being violent so on the audio recordings where he was throwing bottles at her in their kitchen. So I believe some of what she says. HOWEVER, I tend not to care because she was caught on tape saying that her smacking him back was okay and that he was a man, and therefore no one was going to believe him that she hit him, too. I can't stand the double standard from women who claim abuse but they see no problem in the things they say about men or how they hit men. Abuse is abuse and that sh!t just makes it harder for real victims to be believed. Granted, men can often do more damage, but in this case I just think they were both in a volatile relationship with too many d***s, too much alcohol and too much money-- and I don't feel for her at all. On the other hand...I will say that JD's career was not affected. Abuse of women doesn't generally garner any consequence. But AH has literally had to leave the country to escape and had death threats against her.

Or maybe she has a mental illness that is going untreated because, while I think her father and family are absolutely abusing her for money, it doesn't mean she shouldn't have someone helping her to make better decisions for her life because she's incapable of doing so. Her behavior is not healthy. And whether it's due to d**g use, lack of proper medication/mixing meds she shouldn't, and complete lack of ever having to be a real adult because from the time she was 15 she's been a product--probably a mix of all of these--what is for sure is that she's allowing herself to be used by people who are somehow convincing her that they want what's best for her. Some of the guys she's dated are seriously questionable. Criminals, d**g dealers, controlling abusers...I worry that being completely free from help is not really the best thing for her, either.

I truly don't believe this at all. I think JB was probably a little aggressive as some guys tend to be when they start feeling comfortable with women on set, and I definitely believe the story of him going into her trailer inappropriately because the details of it sound very real and detailed. It just feels like it's not a lie and it has a ring of truth to it. it probably made her uncomfortable. I don't think it was as bad as she's trying to make it sound, though, because there's plenty of video of her laughing and talking with him. As a woman I understand that sometimes we do that to avoid confrontation. But if it was so bad that RR started hanging out on set with her because she felt unsafe and uncomfortable, I feel like there needed to be a much clearer line with him that was drawn to say 'this is unacceptable and we're going to fulfill our contracts to finish this film but I don't need you to be in my trailer, I don't need you being around me at all unless it's business related.'

I can't imagine that's true. I wonder if there are any stats that say there has been an uptick in female viewership because of this? Taylor Swift dating Travis isn't bringing in more female fans to football games. It's bringing female fans to Travis's podcast and their personal stuff because that's what girl's who hyperfocus on celebrities tend to do. They could care less about the football. And no amount of occasionally seeing TS in the vip box is going to keep anyone watching a 4 hour game if they aren't already into it.

Don't get me wrong—I absolutely believe there's rampant SA throughout most media, especially on teen show sets. But I think it's dangerous to dismiss serious mental illnesses like bipolar disorder or schizophrenia as mere consequences of trauma rather than the complex medical conditions they are. When people start attributing these disorders solely to external events like harassment, it leads to a misunderstanding of how they function. It creates situations where people assume they can judge someone’s behavior as purely reactionary, rather than recognizing it as a brain disorder that requires proper medical treatment and management. This can discourage people from seeking necessary care, lead to mistreatment or neglect of those suffering, and even create a stigma by making it seem like mental illness is only valid if it's linked to trauma. SA can undoubtedly worsen these conditions and even trigger episodes, but it is not the root cause.

It's really criminal if they aren't doing any sort of medical care (washing, cleaning, diapers, housecleaning, etc). I take home 4K a month at my office job. For half the amount you're paying, you could pay someone like me to go sit with her each day and I could do the same thing for you. I'd even be willing to cook and clean for that amount and a lot of people would feel the same. So crazy.

I'm single with no kids and like the idea of having medical personnel nearby in case something happens to me. I plan to get a life alert necklace and stay home as long as possible, but I’m okay with the idea of a nursing home. I don’t want to be lying on the floor in pain with no one knowing I’m hurt. The issue is these places are barely covered by insurance. My grandmother’s private insurance—one of the best—still requires her to spend her entire savings for lower-level care. You have to pay $80K upfront just to get in, and if they pass away immediately, that money is gone. My parents are grateful my grandfather saved so much because they couldn’t manage her care anymore. Nicer places cost millions, and it’s frustrating that elder care isn’t subsidized. It makes me question why we even pay taxes when so little actually helps people.

Fortunately I didn't ever outwardly pay him for anything. I didn't get stuck with any bills or anything. But if the rent was 1000.50, he'd only pay 500. It was so annoying and when I confronted him he'd look at me like I was being a b*tch. I hate to generalize but I feel like men can do that to women sometimes. A woman can point out something or say something that's completely reasonable but somehow they turn it around and it makes you have to feel bad about yourself for being 'mean mommy'. I wish grown people would stop making others take care of them. A lot of the submissions are people who expect other people to clean up or pay for them because they thinks it's 'no big deal'. But little things seed a lot of resentment.

The way we are expected to do everything to placate men. Be pretty, but not so pretty you look unapproachable. Wear make up, but not so it looks like you're wearing make up. Don't earn more than men because that's emasculating, but don't ask men for money because that's gold digging. Be smart, but not smarter than men. If you don't go to the gym you're lazy, but if you do you're just attention seeking. It goes on...
