I hold judgement on the fact that I know people who have had their own reservations in holding off on it. My reasons for getting it were not even about the virus. I just wanted to travel without having problems. Haven't been able to go anywhere, anyways. I know people who have just gotten it to keep their job.

Proper vaccine research cannot be done in this time span, so f**k you if you have no clue what you're talking about. So over this. Absolutely agree. As a person involved in animal vaccines I know the difference in test time between simple IB vaccine for polutry and Covid-19 vaccines. In my opinion the Covid vaccines work, but have not been tested as throughly as they should, thus I fully understand the hesitation

I would just like to add one other thing. Astra was and still is a vaccine on the market in European countries. Albeit it is not accepted in many countries for good reasons considering it has a kill count and low protection against covid-19. Now what would happen if that vaccine was the main one distributed in your country... This is why individuals are cautious, because we do not know what we are getting. That is why people desperately research for information. However, some are able to find valid supporting documents and others fall for every sort of published article out there without any proof of validation. I'm open to discussing this, this is, after all, just my experience over this damn pandemic.

I was one of the individuals who held off on the vaccine along with a few others. My friend is immunocompromised and was specifically told not to get the vaccine because there were no trials at the time for people with low immune system protection. My dad had stomach cancer and many people at the treatment center were also told to hold off. I'm sorry, but jumping at a vaccine on the market is, in my opinion, not a good idea. Vaccines normally take years of research and trials before being approved. This one was rushed. I think being cautious is acceptable. Even last month, my mom finally got the vaccine because she was receiving shots in her spine that prevented her from getting the doses (There are no trials that stated it is safe to take covid-19 vaccines at the same time as these shots). However, she was getting a symptom of chest tightness and immediately was notified to take tests related to myocarditis as it was related to rare vaccine deaths.

Some people look at the research provided and say, "ok, but what about long term side affects?" It really is early to know if anyone will have problems long term, because it's only been out for a year. I understand their hesitation, because there hasn't been enough time to research all of the potential issues. I waited because I felt the release was rushed and I wasn't comfortable yet. Waited several months before getting it so I could find out all I could including statistics and side affects. I don't ever get flu shots so it was new territory for me

After getting the second shot I had a period that lasted almost an entire month. You even said it's possible it's related to the shot. That's why I should be allowed to have an open dialogue and say "This is what happened to me." It's really telling that I've been downvoted for sharing my experience and just asking that more research be put into any negative effects. This shot was unlike any other I'd experienced. I'm not saying "Don't get the shot". I'm saying I understand the fears and the second dose has knocked people on their ass. More than half my department called in sick after getting the second dose and most of them are women.

Also, vaccines, medical devices, medications.. you name it.. get passed by the FDA without research, testing or any sort of data collection all of the time. Later to be recalled when ppl actually start using it and end up sick or injured. S**t. Look at the history of vaccines. ESPECIALLY those that involve women. It's a very messy messy subject. Lol. I just can't stop laughing at your response tho. "I hate this do your own research" s**t... babe... it's ppl like you who are the reason why corporations and governments have been able to get away with the s**t they have for decades. Because it's ppl like you who don't actually educate themselves n understand how things work.. so it's ppl like you who allow these ppl to get away with pollution the oceans, using medical devices that kill ppl, poison our crops, design airplanes that are going to fucken kill ppl, make medications that cause more problems than they solve, sell baby products that are proven to cause cancer.. lol. So dumb.

I really hate the people that scream "Anti-vax!" and a slew of other false accusations because someone's being honest about being scared. It's perfectly reasonable to be nervous about a shot that was rushed out and they were not honest enough about how sick the shot can make you. I hope more research is done into how it affects especially women. After I got the second shot I started getting two periods a month and a huge cyst in one of my breasts. I don't think it's far fetched to wonder if the Pfizer shot had something to do with it.

People don't learn to fight. You have to fight fair in a relationship. People go nuts when they get mad and some couples never learn to fight in a way that honors the person you are fighting with. It is so important to learn to respect space, don't assume motives, and take turns in explaining your views. Its a big deal and I work on it quite a bit in counseling.

I think nowadays its the other way around, people with time for children could spend this time being exploited at work, also a family life could be a distraction from commitment to workplace, women might take maternity leave, parents might be more stressed or have to stay home if a child is sick or might like to go home earlier...also childless employees are able to live from a lower wage.. I think employers rather don't want peoole to have children.

My ex boyfriend wanted an expensive guitar and when he was asked in the shop if he wants to try it, to play it, he said no, I've seen enough. Because he wanted it as a decoration of his living room.
