I wish I could do that but where I live mice are considered vermin. I do have one resident mouse, however. I don't know where it came from but it showed up one day in the middle of my kitchen and scooted behind the fridge the second I walked into the room. I started to feed it, leaving a trail of food from the kitchen to the patio door and then put food on the patio. I left the door open hoping Mousey would follow the trail of food and end up outside. It apparently worked. We didn't see it happen but after not seeing Mousey for two days we put some peanut butter on the patio and just watched. Sure enough, Mousey showed up and ate the peanut butter. We've been feeding Mousey ever since - peanut butter, peanuts, corn . . .

Mr negativity .... just to be clear I have now been doing this since early 2018 and to date the mouse numbers have never gone crazy 0 mice in the house and no problems at all .. in the uk mice numbers out in the wild often stay low unless limitless food is around

I have been caring for and feeding this group of mice since 2018 and seen lots of mice come and go and some grow from tiny babys to full grown adults that have lived long for wild mice . so they get very used to me being around and know I mean them no harm also they often know I bring treats and peanuts .

started this in 2018 and not had a single mouse in my house or seen any real population booms . in the uk with weather and predators mice groups are lucky to reach more than 8 or live longer than 3 mths .
