Couple Searches For Server After Long Wait, Refuses To Tip On $200 Bill Because Of What They Found

If the food itself was good, ask to see the chef so you can provide your compliments in person to them. Give the chef the tip in cash that you wish to provide for them alone. Make sure the server us aware that no tip will be provided to them as their service was not up to standard and let them know that a call will also be made to management to discuss the matter as they were not providing the service that management is paying them to undertake.

Female Employees Have Had Enough Of Planning Secret Santa, All Refuse To Participate This Year

Boss is an A*s. The correct response should have been when it was obvious that other employees wanted to participate that he take on the role. It actually does not cause any work if like our office the names are put in a santa generator. My colleague who organises it does this as we split the party responsibilities as we get our team from all over the country involved. Therefore, there is no chance for slips of paper or "who did I get?". Once you click on it the generated name is your responsibility and nobody elses

Feel for OP, dating in your 40s is brutal. Although not in the same situation I understand her perspective, yeah she has raised her children & there is the wish not to have to go through it again. She still suffering from the trauma of what she went through. She has fear that she connects with these fathers & gets to know & love the kids then if it's a single father(with no mother on scene) he disappears & leaves her with the kids to bring up & her going through all the trauma again. I don't have her experience, am opposite having never had any kind of real relationship & now online dating as I heading to 50. Guys certainly within my range ( 40 to 55) are in 3 camps. Those "figuring it out" - they are not ready for dating, & are not serious. Those "looking for fun", - sex only. Those ready to commit but come with kids/experiences & attitudes expected of the age group. Not an easy situation

A shared house rent per person should not be determined on how much the person is earning when everybody has a defined space and some people's areas are smaller than others! Think about commercial real estate you pay per floor area and amenities, the one doing all the complaining has the master bedroom with their girlfriend therefore there share will be expected to be higher than say an "harry potter" room for example. Not the OP but the other guy is a AH as he clearly is not living in the real world in his head yet. I bet he is closeted by his parents. Even when you move in with a partner as you are now sharing the sane space to prevent any "I bring the money to this house" discussions the fair split should be 1/2 each to the running the house be it rent/mortgage/food/utilities etc.

Replying to add the teacher could have better handled the situation by talking to the little girl privately and say something like, "I know you care about me, and I care about you too, but when you behave like this, it hurts my feelings. Since we care about each other, we need to be careful not to behave in ways that might hurt each other's feelings." You can't just automatically expect kids to understand things from an adult perspective. They're little humans and need to be taught from a place of love, compassion, and understanding. The fact this poor girl was asking her mother if she is a "bad girl" makes my blood boil. Children aren't bad. Behavior is. How this teacher got her degree without taking child development courses is beyond me.

I suspect that a lot of the old friend group are on OP's side and as a result are not going to go to the wedding. As a result the cheaters are getting a lot of rsvp of NO! They think that if they get OP there all their old friends will come running back. But these stupid little children are now along with their family instead making matters worse by harassing OP and making her close to reacting in a negative way that will make their life harder. People need to own their actions in life and understand their are things that cannot be forgotten or forgiven.

I know how bad the dual diagnosis of depression and anxiety is. Everyday is a struggle and at least for me nobody believed the diagnosis of depression as my anxiety made me very animated. You might say I was lucky was what you might call high functioning so unless I had a bad attack nobody would know. When it's been a loving family home that was there for all your childhood we always have memories of it and want to reminise. My mother recently sold her dad's home which he had been in since 1956, she had many happy positive memories there and often says she would love to see what the new owners do with the place. Now me I would not advise going to visit old family homes as I actually feel it will 1) devalue your memories to an extent, its not the same place it was in your family, 2) it can actually cause rage if something that you hold key to your family life there has been dramatically changed. My father knew how to be down right hurtful as he was a narcissist but in this instance I believe he just didn't think how it might be heard. My sister was pregnant and had had a miscarriage a 6 months prior to falling pregnant. We were out eating lunch and he said to her it might be better if she had a miscarriage what he actually meant was if there was something wrong with how the baby was developing as it would be unfair to the baby if it was born with a serious issue that would cause it pain. Needless to say that sister was extremely upset. In this instance of the OP I do believe the MIL is a serious a*****e. You do not say such things to an expectant parent. It is never justified even suggesting that the baby will never be born

OP needs to get more towels, she has 3 male kids that are at the stage where they are going to be getting stinking from BO as they are hitting puberty and will need to take more showers to remain stink free. My Dentist infuriates me. Similar but opposite end of the day to OP I always asked for a 8am appointment pre COVID as I didn't have the option to WFH and had to bus it to work. So wanted to have appointment before going into work as count not rely on being home in time for appointment. So because Dentist didn't want to start early appointments were always getting cancelled. Now, they phone the day before appointment to make sure you will be attending the next day, if they get a voicemail ( often I have meetings during the day) they leave a message to confirm by 3pm or your appointment will be cancelled. I have many times said, if I made the appointment of course I am going to attend!

Apart from that, 18 (or 21 as she in reality is) is a legal adult, so nothing wrong there. People seem to have no problem with very violent scenes, but anything intimate/sensual/sexual should be banned? Just because *you* are not comfortable with it (for whatever reason). I worked at Booking (dot com) about a decade++ ago and our data scientists always said: "Avoid hotels with a rating lower than 8.3". It was some kind of conclusive point of no return or something. They knew something that they couldn't share, but I've always applied this rule since that day, and I've never been disappointed. And I've traveled a LOOOOOT. Red flag: rating lower than 8.3 on Booking.
