There's a diverse range of comics out there in both digital and physical form, and it's hard to think of any new angles to approach this well-established medium. However, some comic artists find a way to speak to their audiences and make their personal mark in this densely saturated field.
Duncan Lin is one of them. His comics don't have any pretenses, they focus on everything that's mundane and simple. However boring the topic of everyday life might seem to someone, Duncan always finds an interesting angle, a wise observation or a wholesome insight into this exhaustive topic. In a way, they're even somewhat therapeutic and meditative, and that's what makes Duncan's comics so distinct.

“Children; they have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place of exercise. They no longer rise when elders enter the room, they contradict their parents and tyrannize their teachers. Children are now tyrants.” -Socrates, proving even the wisest-man in history already suffered from the grumpy-old-man syndrom.

This is me. I'll always be here for you, because I'll always be literally right here.
My friend has absolutely atrocious handwriting. even when i do manage to read it, many of the words are improper grammar. For example, he spelled silent as “sighlent”, and confirmed that was the intended word before saying I just “couldn’t read his handwriting”. No s**t, i copied/drew a copy of his handwriting in my notebook and asked people what it said, not a single person out of 14 students translated the entire excerpt correctly (about 25 words) according to him.
Nothing is as hard as math. At least to me. In 5th grade I had a college reading level. Failing math. Does anyone know what it's called when you have dyslexia but with numbers? I know there's a name for it but that was my issue.
In middle school, a classmate of mine was late, and he said "no, I am one week early", so the teacher replied : "If you a here for next week's class, you are not here for today's... I'll write down that you are missing."

It's the most horrible feeling watching your parents get old. It's like a slow torture and also a preview of what is going to happen to you in the future. But honestly I'd rather see myself get old than have to continue to watch it happen to my parents.

Pleasing everyone is hard. Pissing everyone off is easy, and sometimes a lot more fun
