Plastic straws are not the enemy. This whole argument is a diversion technique so that consumers will argue with each other over essentially meaningless small problems instead of the wholesale damage and pollution being produced by huge corporations and the military-industrial complex. You used disabled people as an excuse to justify healthy people using single-use plastic. I asked you not to use disabled people - like myself - as a scapegoat for your own irresponsibility (because I am sick to death of people doing that). I never assumed or claimed anything about you (although if you're now implying that you yourself have a disability that requires single-use plastic straws, you let slip earlier that you don't, when you said you're familiar with straw requirements through family members, not yourself). You're literally using living, breathing, feeling people as scapegoats for the unrelated and problematic behaviour of others, but sure, I'm the ableist one. I suppose the irony of calling disabled people ableist for asking you not to treat them like p**n pieces, and demanding they apologise, is lost on you? It's also been more than two people (three in this comment alone), all of which you have tried to pick fights with and/or gaslight. But alas, it's *everyone else* looking to be combative. Man people really overacted to your comment! My grandma had to use straws and her life got that much harder when restaurants started to not have them.

@littlesaresare I’m not sure why you assume that I have no disabilities, but it is a mistaken assumption. Also, Parkinson’s runs in my family, so I have intimate knowledge of its effects on people because I’ve watched loved ones struggle with it. And, since your reading comprehension seems to be suffering today, I never praised plastic straws or said that I personally use them. Get over yourself.
