Whenever he encounters friends in trouble, he always uses his creative approach to solve their problems and helps his friends to look on the bright side of life.

One of the best remedies for a bad mood is a good dose of wholesome comics that make you smile. Through these cute and funny animals' daily lives which circle around friendship and love, you'll be sure to leave feeling warm after reading them!

I will start by saying that I love watching movies, especially non-CGI-oriented movies with well-crafted plots that explore humanity. To me, a comic is very similar to a movie as you can use visual images to present your rich imagination. It is more than just entertainment, but a piece of meaningful content that creates an impact on a person's emotion. It was this subconscious perception that led me to create comics that deliver interesting messages.

About four years ago, I was at a low point in my life because of a rare body condition. I stopped working and lived a depressed life. I wasted two years of my life, closing myself off before realizing it was a mistake. To encourage myself to get back on my feet, I created the character of Loffyllama as a reminder to always look on the bright side of life. My parents and girlfriend are always the source of inspiration as they are naturally optimistic people who teach me how to live in the present moment.

While wholesomeness has been the main focus of Loffyllama comics since the beginning, the coloring style of Loffyllama comics in the early stage was influenced by Lunarbaboon, a parenting comic series by Christopher Grady, before switching to a more colorful tone after being inspired by Cat's Cafe by Matt Tarpley. After a long period of testing, Loffyllama comics have settled down with their own simplistic wholesome style similar to Liz Climo's comic series.

I started off the traditional way—drawing on paper with pencil, followed by a fine pen for inking and scanning the comic into the computer for post-editing (coloring, adding text, cleaning smudges, etc.) I switched to digital after one year to speed up my creative process.

Story ideas are the hardest part for me. Sometimes an unshaped idea can live in my brain for days, or even weeks before I find the best way to present it. If I have a complete idea in mind, a full-colored comic takes anywhere between 4 to 6 hours to finish.

I used to find ideas through a variety of children's story books, cartoons, and even song lyrics. Then I find that observing my inner feelings and problems is the best way to find a topic that resonates with my readers.

This reminds me of a conversation I had just a few days ago. I asked a friend who‘s really good at drawing if she can give me some advice as to why my drawings didn‘t look as cute as those of others using a similar style. She said, "But I did find your [birthday drawing I made for her] absolutely cute!" I guess the heart looks at things in a different light than eyes do.

That Gator must be my son. He won't go to sleep unless I've scratched his back and front thoroughly. It's a very strange kind of itch, btw, it only flares up when he has to sleep...

I started using Instagram for Loffyllama comics as a way to deliver positive content to the world. I think there are already enough negative elements on social media nowadays.

As mentioned earlier, Loffyllama comics originally served as a positive reminder for myself. But to my surprise, after posting it on social media, I received a lot of comments as well as messages telling me how my comics help to put a smile on their face and motivate them to go through difficulties in life. They love Loffyllama comics because they find it adorable, heartwarming, and full of positive vibes.

That's something you should never say. People are not supposed to force themselves to smile just to look pretty for you.
